I think in late September Carter was already down in the polls.
Yes, Rasmussen party ID is applied to all other pollsters in that website.
What I don’t understand is how Rasmussen himself has Obama ahead by 1% instead of Romney leading by 7% or so. Should Rasmussen be “unskewed”?
Everyone needs to keep such a close eye on what the government has been taking from them. Although it is frustrating for you to know it, it is good that you are acutely aware.
You would be surprised how many people I worked with had no idea even what tax bracket they were in. Especially the women. They were asking me how I could afford to only work part-time so my son would never have to be in daycare. I showed them the math, pointing out that I was not bringing home close to 45% of what I earned, between federal, state, and Social Security/Medicare taxes. They seemed shocked and said that they were not the same situation. I know they were because their husbands made about the same as mine. Taxes on the second income are exorbitantly high if the first income is decent. But they would rather stick their heads in the sand and not know how much they were paying.
Ignorance is bliss, for some. Luckily, not for all of us ;)
BTW, cute screename.
“Due to white guilt, Obozo carried our zip codes with a wide margin in 2008.”
’ I hope many of those guilt-voters don’t feel that they need to do it a second time.’
We are not at this time seeing the yard signs in Wino Country for Obama/Biden that we saw in 2008.
We have a few die hard democrats on our Cul de Sac, and they have no Obama yard signs nor bumper stickers like they had at this time in 2008.
I don't understand why you would do that.
The election is November 6th :)
LOL - I missed that!
That’s ok. You know the old saying
“If you’re not a liberal at 18 you have no heart. If you’re not a conservative by 30 you have no brain.”
In 08 the average of national polls showed Obama up 2.6% it broke big time to Obama - 7.3%. Obama’s up right now in the avg. of national polls. Almost every poll shows Obama ahead. RCP shows him ahead by 4.3%.
Either:
1. They’ve intentionally skewed the polls in his favor; or
2. Romney is an incredibly weak candidate; or
3. The electorate doesn’t care about the economy and feels Obama deserves a 2nd chance.
I believe the economy is the issue this campaign. Romney fought hard and won the Primaries, so he’s not a weak candidate. It must be 1. It could be 2. but only because Romney’s been so wounded, but it doesn’t seem that way in my gut given what I’ve seen so far. That said I don’t live in a battleground state. Perhaps Mitt is very, very weak in those critical states.
The final consideration is that national polls of LV don’t matter. Winning the popular vote isn’t critical, but winning the EC is.
Ah. Another case of Ubama "leading from behind".
do you have a link to that???
Thank you
does msnbc’s motto “lean forward” consitute a campaign contribution for obama’s motto “forward”.
seriously it is subliminally telling viewers to leaaaan to obama.
