“Our worst enemies here are not the ignorant and simple... our worst enemies are the intelligent and corrupt”.

When you have intelligent and corrupt Democrats leading the ignorant and simple Democrats you have the Obama 47%.

@"Dark Skies Blog" But Barry ... come on. Do you think Americans are that stupid (again, apparently you do)?

It seems the skies were dark indeed in September of 2008, when even well informed people paid little attention or were afraid to raise the full spectrum of this "racist" issue. And the answer to the [rhetorical] question above is, of course:

"Yes, a large proportion of population - and the one that's getting ever larger - is indeed either stupid or uninformed or acting in what they mistakenly think is their self-interest... or all of the above. Add to that that people aren't always presented with the best choices or candidates and you have the anatomy of societal collapse, as in Idiocracy?"

We've seen enough elections proving the veracity of this point.

Exactly. In some countries, like Greece that had a three-decade socialist party rule, or Spain which had only seven years, it's a lot more than half the population.

I remember Vernon Jarret from my days in Chicago. While pleasant and polite, he held truly extreme leftist views.

note the main characters in this 1979 article:

It also might be considered more than coincidence that the author of that 1979 newspaper column was from Chicago, where Barack Obama settled in 1986 a few years after his stint at Columbia University. It is certainly surprising that the author of that column was none other than Vernon Jarrett, the future (and later former) father-in-law of Valerie Jarrett, who ultimately became the consigliatore of the Obama White House.

It is also noteworthy that Vernon Jarrett was one of the best friends and a colleague of Frank Marshall Davis, the former Chicago journalist and lifelong communist who moved to Hawaii in the late 1940s and years later befriended Stanley and Madelyn Dunham and their daughter Stanley Ann, the mother of Barack Obama. “Carter, Clinton and Obama The entire democratice party hiding behind the “environmental” agenda is case in point. There I fixed it for you.”

Let's see.

The Saudis support a child fathered by a Muslim, who has been steeped in Communist dogma.

As early as 1979 Communist in Russia are stating that a young man fitting the above child's upbringing and family history will be elected president and change America. (see Tom Fife's article, “The First Time I Heard of Barak”.

The young radicals of the late 60’s infiltrate the MSM, They now call themselves Progressives and Environmentalists.

The man is supported by the MSM, which hides his background from the American public, and insured election despite running against a military hero.

The Arab world gets to dictate the limitation of American petroleum production, ensuring that OPEC controls the supply, and price.

As a bonus they get a president that supports the Arab agenda, plays havoc with American foreign policy, and ensures that Muslims’ actions and atrocities are viewed by the MSM as America's fault.

Look at the 1963 Goals:

15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.

20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy making positions.

21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a “religious crutch.”

28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”

29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.”

32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture—education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.

37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.

It looks like the Progressives and Socialist are right on schedule. Remember these were the 1963 goals of the Communist Party, and still are the goals of the current “Progressives”.

SHAME on the media for not doing their job in 08

May 16, 2012: Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. (NWSA) has raised its stake in Rotana to 19 percent from 14.5 percent. Rotana, the Arab World's largest media company which runs several TV and radio stations, is controlled by Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal.

Alwaleed, in turn, owns 7% of News Corp. Prince is particularly good friends with James Murdoch who recently became deputy COO and Chief of American operations of News Corp. Rupert Murdoch and family control approximately 40% of voting shares of News Corp.

In December 2011, Alwaleed invested $300 Million in Twitter by buying private shares from the company insiders on the secondary market, which gave him approximately 3.5% stake in the company.

So I’m asking myself, who paid for Sotomeyer’s education? Kagan’s education? Holder’s education? Hell, you can ask yourself if they were spending money on 10,000 people a year for 10 years, how far and deep does this corruption go?

You are right about the author’s intent.

You will go insane if you attempt to unravel all the interlocking relationships between commies, fellow-travelers, useful idiots, and all their shell/front organizations. “Discover the Networks” does a good job trying to do this, but it is thoroughly mind-numbing. If the author had tried to extend his thesis to commie relationships, the article would have been even more difficult to follow.

And yet Fox was one of the only media outlets to ask questions about 0dumbo and his ties whhile all other MSM just kissed his ass

Some / certain reporters on Fox asked some / certain questions about Obama and/or other Democrats, as counter-programming to the rest of the media, but that was driven by the "culture" of some / certain rank-and-file reporters rather than investments or the possible edicts of the owner of parent company. Case in point - WSJ's mostly conservative/libertarian editorial board vs WSJ's generally very liberal news division reporting, owned by the same publication within News Corp.

FNC and Murdoch have a reputation of a "conservative" media outlet, by comparison to an out-and-out "progressive" media. That allows Fox maintain a disproportionate share of the viewers and listeners who don't care for "progressive" point-view fed to them from the numerous other media outlets, whose only differentiation comes down to the "personality" delivering the same "old news" the consumers can hear or have heard everywhere else.

Successful content differentiation is good for business, especially when differentiation is addressing the larger and captive "intellectually hungry" segment of the "market" (population) for political and/or business news.

well the reporters who asked the questions about odumbo’s ties and ideologyare atill employed by Fox
so clearly there was no pressure by Fox or any Saudi investor to STOP asking questions
