Something very big is going on in the Middle East. This is not about an inflammatory film or a political assassination in Libya. Rather, recent events confirm that throughout the Muslim world, radical Islam is on the march. The radical Muslims have figured out a much better strategy than the Al Qaeda strategy of the past decade. Instead of terrorist acts aimed at directly wounding the “far enemy,” namely the United States, Islamic radicals are using democracy and public protest to defeat the “near enemy,” namely their own autocratic governments, and seize power. Remarkably President Obama seems to be responding in a way that helps the Islamic radicals, and the vital question is why.

I believe I can answer these questions and explain Obama’s double standards. The key is to realize that Obama isn’t a fool. He isn’t getting results opposite to the ones he intends; rather, he intends the results he’s getting. He said during his inaugural speech that he wanted to remake America and transform its place in the world, and this is exactly what he is doing.
Obama’s is an anti-colonialist, an ideology he adopted from his Kenyan father.

he subscribes to an ideology that considers it a good thing for America’s influence to be reduced. Obama wants to reduce America’s footprint in the world because he believes we have been stepping on the world.

He wants to undermine America’s allies and leave in place regimes that are indifferent or hostile to America. This is what the anti-colonial ideology predicts he would do, and this is what his actions show he is doing. No wonder that in recent days Obama seems more concerned with containing America than with acting decisively against the hostile forces of radical Islam in the Middle East.

Unfortunately, most people now days are totally uninformed and pay no attention to the news. Otherwise there is no chance Obama could have been elected and would have no chance at reelection.
Ask a liberal to tell you what is going on with Libya. I have, and most of them tell me it was caused by a video.

We have some extremely innovative outfits. Thhe tragedy is that in the last 15 years or so, all workplaces have become overroun with jihadists and the extreme far left. Look up the facebook pages of employees in these places, and you find two things as a rule: Palestinians and Obama.

I think Obama is definitely working towards tha goal of creating an Islamic power bloc that would be the consolidated enemy to the West in general and the US in particular. IMHO, the reason the obama regime keeps preventing us from developing our own fossil fuels is that he wants to,give this new power bloc a big bargaining chip that may make up for the fact that its armies and weaponry are probably still somewhat inferior to ours...although with all the technology transfers he’s done, they’re probably not very inferior anymore.

I was just thinking that there should be news reports in 15 second advertising slots during the top tv shows. Even a little 10 second history lesson, or better yet, put some true news on facebook advertising slots.
IMO most Americans will find it difficult to oppose such movements.
The core principle of our system is that a people has the right to rule itself. Which does not rule out the possibility that when they do so they'll make really poor decisions.
The alternative is for us to openly endorse and support, even impose, governments we know are in opposition to the will of the people.
Doing so makes America a true empire, and I'm positive that's not a road I want to travel, though it may eventually turn out to be necessary to do so.
We do not, however, have an obligation to assist anti-american groups to power, even by democratic means.
How is working to reduce America’s influence, undermining allies and helping enemies NOT treason? Would a traitor act any differently?
On the domestic front, would someone who wants to knowingly sabotage the economy enact policies and set up regulations any different from what Obama has done?
If it acts like a duck, at what point should we finally say it’s a duck? It’s time for the administration to show how despite its action, it is not a duck, instead of us tap dancing around the “hurtful” notion that this man is a traitor solely based on his actions.
