DES MOINES, Iowa — In a presidential race seemingly frozen in place for months, the advantage has shifted toward President Barack Obama after a series of miscues by Mitt Romney, punctuated by the Republican challenger's comments about people who pay no income tax.
Despite a continuing gray economic sky and unrest in the Mideast, the president has edged ahead of Romney in polls in some of the most competitive states, including Iowa and Virginia, and forced Romney to redouble efforts in Florida and Ohio, without which he has little chance of becoming president.
With about six weeks left before Election Day and early voting under way in some states, Romney faces a problematic map, a ticking clock and a campaign demeanor that has failed to click with many voters.
Obama's momentum did not come overnight. It built over several weeks in which Romney hit some potholes while the president made few errors and benefited from previously unseen advantages in advertising strategy and fundraising.

I can't believe an American would knowingly vote for a man who bows to Islam but denies his country has "Judeo-Christian" roots and who willingly lies to his countrymen. Obama was raised in the Islamic faith; is surrounded by Marxist, Communist, and Socialists...has a hatred for Capitalism though willingly uses every aspect of it. Just remember that we are dealing with a rerun of the Clinton/Dole election. The media types back then discovered that they could put out oversampled Democratic polls and hope that they would be self fulfilling, and they were. So many thought the polls were correct they many became discouraged. Ever since then, we have a vicious propaganda machine that exists through subjective polling and ranting left wing media. The real question this time is: are people going to fall for these tactics again? Remember how the opposition brought out Bush’s DWI a few days before the election and harped on it non-stop? It didn’t work then. Maybe it won’t this time.
If the blue bloods and country clubbers and their greedy pulled back wives running the RNC think they are going to force this fraud down conservatives throats and we'll just take it, they have another thing coming.
There will be no solutions coming out of DC no matter which faction of Washingtonians is in control.
DC IS the problem, the Capitol needs to be rotated amongst the States.

The real "Tea Party" protested intolerable government policy by destroying about 2 million bucks worth of Tea and telling the Kings minions to stick it where the sun don't shine.
