This is a little difficult but, hopefully, will work.
When you see the two frozen video screens, scroll down to the second one titled "See the full debate here".
When you click on the arrow in the center of the screen, the video will start but will not have sound.
You must force the red bar to move right until you get to the 1.06 hour spot. By forcing the red bar to the right will turn on the sound.
The 1.06 time will start the Senate debate. If you want to see all of the debates, starting with the governor debate, just tap the red bar to the right after clicking on the center arrow and the video will start along with the sound.

What’s the consensus? Was it a good debate? Did Todd do a good job?
I certainly hope there’s truth in DeMint, RNC, MO RNC, getting behind him FINANCIALLY...
Bunch of losers they are...

Should be some polls coming out soon. Of course, depends on how and who is conducting them and the type of people surveyed. Missouri voters should be the main ones polled since this is a Missouri election only.
Bty, just curious, did you have any problems getting the video and sound to work per my instructions? Just curious since some on our Missouri site board were asking for any videos on it.

I watched the latter part -- TV streams were having a difficult time broadcasting the early part of the debate.
My only previous familiarity with Akin was his non-apology speech. However, I thought he was very impressive during this debate. McCaskill did give him several bits he could use against her.
McCaskill said her biggest responsibility as a politician [that is, Senator] was to listen to the people.
Akin brought up that some 70% of Missourians oppose Obamacare.
Apparently, McCaskill was NOT listening to the people when she cast the deciding vote to pass Obamacare.
McCaskill also made a comment that Missouri has the lowest tax rate on cigarettes. Missouri could add $1.00 in new taxes and the state would still have the lowest tax on cigarettes.
Sounded like McCaskill was encouraging smokers and increasing cigarette tax -- because the state could use the money.
One laughable moment was when she said 'I can still remember the locations of the Post Offices in the towns where I grew up.' [huhhhh? snicker]
McCaskill: There are a lot of things in the [re: Obamacare] bill ...
[Pelosi: We gotta pass it to find out what is in it.]
McCaskill advocated pulling the infrastructure money going to Iraq and Afghanistan.
McCaskill basically said a Federal Budget bill was irrelevant.
Akin says it is a Constitutional mandate.

LOL and if the rest of the states would raise theirs higher we could raise ours that much higher and still have the lowest.

Yeah, I should have put the url on the body of comment block. The Fox2Now ^ just below the thread title goes to the same url as yours if you click on it.

Well shut my mouth. I thought this would be a slam dunk for me. That guy, Akin, is good. He's REALLY good. He had to go and spoil it for me. Why am I biting down on this pencil? Because I didn't get my way. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

With a full hour of silence before the debate begins you might think that the controllers of the media really don’t want the people to pay any attention to this debate.

I hope DeMint watches this debate video and twists some arms up there at the RNSC for more forces to combat the aire war that Claire is unleashing on the citizens of Missouri.

Wow there are still people trusting Akin now?

Wow there are still people trusting Akin now? Yes they are. I see you are a newbie. Welcome to Free Republic. As you learn more about the way this CONSERVATIVE site works, you will become more aware that it supports CONSERVATIVES. Being how Todd Akin is a conservative candidate running against an Obama ultra LIBERAL clone for the U.S. Senate seat, most Missourians want McCaskill defeated in the upcoming election.
Now, here's the good point. Missourians will be voting for their candidate for the U.S. Senate. Not Kansas. Not California. No, none of those people are entitled to vote for either Akin or McCaskill. Only Missourians.
If I'm not mistaken, I sense a little bit of sarcasm in your post. I would recommend you do some research into what has been happening lately with the surge Todd Akin is getting in support for his reelection. Did you watch the debate? Did you hear about Newt and DeMint campaigning for him as well as providing fund raisers?
If you are from Missouri (noticed you don't have a state tag),then you already know how most of us feel about getting rid of Obama as well as his clone (McCaskill). If you are from other states or countries outside of Missouri, you need to think about knee jerk statements like the one you just posted.

Well said Evil Slayer:) the people of Missouri KNOW who Akin is and there isn’t a better conservative in congress. Amazing that some people base their view of a candidate on media sound bites without doing further research.
I am PROUD to support Akin!
