The American Jewish Committee poll shows that the president leads Mitt Romney in Florida by a 69-25 percentage-point margin with five percent undecided. Obama got 74-78 percent of the national Jewish vote in 2008.

>> American Jewish Committee poll

So, how many Jews are going to tell a pollster from the AMERICAN JEWISH COMMITTEE that they’re voting for Romney?

Even if they *intend to*? :-)

Don’t miss this update at the bottom of the page:

The American Jewish Committee has now belatedly released the margin of error for this survey as being six percent. While earlier I pointed out that the sample size for this poll was small and that it may have undercounted Orthodox Jews, having such a big margin of error seriously undermines its credibility. This means that President Obama’s share of the Florida Jewish vote could be as low here as 63 percent (as well as being as high as 75 percent). That should calm the nerves of some Republicans who had to be perplexed by the results as well as cause Democrats to restrain their glee. But it should also encourage the GOP to redouble their efforts in this sector since, as I wrote, the breakdown on issues like Israel and Iran ought to give some room for Romney to gain ground at the president’s expense.

This is again one of those things that befuddles me.

Obama has nine percent lower support in 2012 among Jews than in 2008.

That is a disaster. Like every other demographic, the president has lost a minimum of five percent. In many key groups such as independents he has lost double digit portions.

Can anyone name a demographic that has increased support for President Obama?

I can think of a dozen demographics and their is not one group that is going stronger for the President.

he is doomed. They know it is true.

It is all about republican voter suppression now. That is the only hope.

I hope the libtard media continues with the carpet bombing of these bogus polls. It will make the Ds complacent.

I’m down here and between the Oy Vay billboard on I 95 and Obozo meeting with the mooselimb brotherhood instead of BeBe I’d say Odumbo is in trouble with the Jews in Florida.

Probably not so many Jews for Hitler as last time even if they are ashamed to be for freedom.

That Wasserman-Shultz woman is doing a bang up job down in Florida. I’d want to hitch my stars to her, alright. NOT!

I pray you’re right. The logical part of my brain agrees with the/your assessment that each and every group that supported 0bama has been eroded to some degree and none of them has increased.

But as I keep realizing, Romney is Florida. No doubt, GOP voter suppression is in full swing. I’m not happy predicting with the electoral-college odds Romney faces. If 0bama wins FL, it becomes almost impossible for Romney to prevail.

Jews are an interesting bunch. My best friend of 18 years is Jewish and I consider him a brother as I am an only child, and so was my best friend in college. I’m Catholic.

On a day to day basis I find the Jewish people some of the most realistic, enjoyable people to be around.

Sometimes when I hear the thoughts and logic on deeper issues I simply feel like it is invasion of the body snatchers. Most often it simply does not match their actual behavior.

Can anyone name a demographic that has increased support for President Obama?

The only ones that seems plausible to me are felons and dead people. Consider Eric Holder's DOJ.

I recall reading a story from one of the Israel newspapers at the time of the Bush/Gore dustup. It was saying there is a huge number of Israelites dual US/Israel citizens who vote absentee every election and that there were enough to probably decide who wins in Florida. My recollection is that it was in excess of 10,000.

Gore got 88%, Kerry 80%, Kenya 75% and now 69% of the Jewish vote is supposed to be bad news for Romney?

The Democrats were very successful in suppressing Republican voters in 2008 ~ in fact, the Republicans got out about 59 million voters and the Democrats got out about 69 million voters.

That's about 17% more Democrat votes than Republican votes.

Tens of millions of other voters didn't bother showing up.

Obamugabe has been such a terrible disappointment it's actually possible for fewer Democrats to show up in this election.

(NOTE: Republicans would probably have won with a Conservative candidate in 2008. The lurch to the left resulted in fewer Republican voters showing up in 2008 than in 2004.)

Jews gonna Jew.
FWIW these are mostly JINOS that would sacrifice their mothers for attention or acceptance. I stand with and love the true Jews of Israel. Not these northeastern and european transplants that are trying to turn this country into the ones they fled.

I cannot comprehend why the American Jew would support Obama knowing full well that their homeland, and relatives, will most likely be annihilated with his policies!

I further have issues with all of the so-called 'Catholics', who supposedly value the sanctity of life, and yet support and vote for politicians who approve abortion.

I see hypocrites on both horizons.....
