Reid’s original claim, of course, wasn’t that Romney was “hiding something” but that a Bain investor had told him Romney hadn’t paid income tax at all for 10 years. We found out a few hours ago that that’s not true if your 10-year window includes 2011, and if you believe PricewaterhouseCoopers, it’s not true for the period from 1990-2009, when he paid an average annual effective rate of 20.2 percent.
Time for an apology, or time to move the goalposts? Longtime Reid-watchers know the answer. From a Las Vegas Sun reporter:

I’m curious whether Two-Faced Dingy Harry opposed tax-cheating Timmy Geithner for Secretary of the Treasury. This of course is a rhetorical question.

Harry Reid, even more than the now failing regime of the Current Occupant of the Oval Office, should be the face ALL Republicans for Federal level elective positions are running against.
Just as George W. Bush was the person that was the springboard used by the Democrats at every level in their drive from 2006 on to take and hold the reins of Congress and the White Hut.
“It’s Harry Reid’s fault!” should be announced and recited at every level, at every press conference, at every election rally, and in every debate between incumbent and challenger from now to election.
Is this demonization? Well, who deserves it more?
