CONVICTED!

These are for people that have already been CONVICTED of DUI. It is part of their legal penalty.

How many strikes should someone get for DUI before the law takes some action against them?

Would you prefer these people convicted of DUI simply be thrown in jail for an extended period of time, because that is the alternative they are facing?

The problem is DUI covers non-alcohol and the blowers only detect alcohol. The only thing it accomplishes is making these people buy the expensive interlock devices... hmm wonder who had that idea.

"The court’s ruling came Wednesday in the case of a woman arrested in 2009 in Santa Fe County for driving under the influence of drugs. A blood test found the presence of the prescription painkiller oxycodone as well as a sedative, which as a brand name drug is called Valium. The woman, Tara Valdez, pleaded guilty to a first-time DWI offense but challenged the requirement to have an ignition interlock."

It was her first.

The Kenyan must go.
