It drives me nuts seeing all the attention paid to empty chairs....and not on the fact that a SITTING president is raising money (millions) through a front for his personal use. This has never been done before....and I'm not sure it's even legal, altho this has never stopped Obama before. At the least, it's immoral and unethical....and it's USING the power of incumbency in the White House for personal profit.

Many different types of presidential doors can be opened through grease (donations) from moneyed people and business types to an incumbent, regardless if he may not be around after finishing his term....which is still 3 months away.

Penny Moneypenny's fundraising efforts can be an indirect form of gentle extortion.....even a collection of funds for favors from the presidency before he leaves office.

The whole thing stinks to high heaven.....to me it's influence-peddling by an incumbent......and I'm dismayed that all the emphasis, attention and one-liners appear to be focused on the empty chair gig in this discussion.
