A Christian-owned chain of hobby shops is facing a bitter backlash after suing the Obama administration over new requirements to provide insured employees with contraceptive and abortion coverage.
Oklahoma-based Hobby Lobby filed the suit Sept. 12 in U.S. District Court in Oklahoma City, alleging that the ObamaCare mandate violates the religious beliefs of the company's owners. The suit followed similar suits by Catholic colleges and a Denver-based company whose owners also objected to the mandate on religious grounds. While a judge has not yet ruled on Hobby Lobby's suit, a Facebook page calling for a boycott of the company, which operates 500 stores in 41 states, has appeared online, and several other forums have featured posts urging customers to steer clear of Hobby Lobby.
Im boycotting Hobby Lobby! reads the heading of one posting on image posting site Flickr. Even if you're pro-life this kind of action stinks to high heaven! If things like this can be allowed then what's next?!, the user added.
Others have taken to social media to protest against Hobby Lobby, with a Boycott Hobby Lobby page on Facebook.

Hobby Lobby owner David Green is a devout Baptist who owns one of the world's largest collections of Biblical artifacts. The Barret Fund for Religious Liberty, which represents Green in his suit, argued that compliance with the offending portion of the health care law that the nature of their suit is would force religiously-motivated business owners like plaintiffs to violate their faith under the threats of millions of dollars in fines.

There was a post here last night from the CSM that had some gay guy celebrating that CFA had decided to pull all support from those who are against homosexual “marriages”. It was from the CSM so I’m not sure what actually happened.
Let me see if I can find the post. I’ve got to get back to work so I don’t have a lot of time. It was posted here last night.
Read the last post at your link.
It appears that maybe Alderman Joe Moreno AND CSM are spreading untruthful information. Figures.
I’m happy to say that I love Hobby Lobby. I go as often as I can. It’s inspiring and beautiful and has wonderful ideas for kids. it smells good...especially in Autumn and Winter. I get everything framed there. Any kind of project that calls for material can be addressed there. It’s just a great place to be. If you have no ideas when you walk in, you have plenty when you leave. They are generous with their discounts and coupons. The fact that they disagree with any government policy doesn’t even come close to causing me to stop doing business with them. Communists miss out on so much joy in life.
Does Hobby Lobby have a Hobby Lobby lobbyist?
I've seen it.
Mind-blowing. Big enough it warrants its own museum.
I bought a couple of cake pans that were needed, and signed up for their newsletter.
The Chick-Fil-A story is on Drudge/Washington Times. The story says they sent a Chicago Democrat a letter saying they would stop funding pro-traditional-marriage groups and tried to keep it quiet so as not to offend conservatives. Sounds like a slap in the face to Huckabee and the rest of us who supported them with record-breaking sales.

Maybe we should boycott all of the companies which got waivers.
He's at Hobby Airport right now!
I hope Mr. Green has some N-scale railroad stuff... if Hobby lobby does, I'll support them with my $$$.
Mr. Green, DON'T CAVE...
Check out what the company says: http://www.chick-fil-a.com/Pressroom/Press-Releases#?release=who-we-are
Looks like big time smear by MSM to me.

Looks like Hobby Lobby Appreciation Day is Monday, Oct. 1st. See ya there!
Seems as if it would be good to support them now. But does everybody remember Chik-fil-A Day? The goons keep winning. We keep losing. Period. End of story.
