I read it as “Wall Street types would not blow their money on a top Republican as a lobbyist if the smart money was expecting a Democrat to win”

Well, if he is responsible for the milquetoast approach, good riddance to him!

Polls show the former Massachusetts governor running neck and neck with President Barack Obama in a contest both sides predict will be very close

LOL!

Neck and neck, just like 1980 and 1984 were up until election eve. ; )

“Wall Street”. Terrific imaging. Couldn’t Pawlenty have waited 2 months to announce this?

Pawlenty going to be lobbyist just tells me he was special interest guy from the start. For once will someone run that has the American people interest first. The debt these politician have created is unheard of.

Further proof that being in government is a stepping stone to the ultimate goal, becoming a lobbyist.

Tim Pawlenty

may be a nice guy, but he seems ineffectual.

And to think many wanted him as the GOP candidate.

Pawlenty was worthless anyway. And his timing is always bad. He quit the presidential race, not after any actual votes were cast, but after a straw poll was cast. Had he stayed, he may have rallied support as all of the others did.

Romney’s probably better off without his moderate advice. He has enough of his own, after all.

Pawlenty wasn’t able to run a good national campaign for himself. It boggles the mind to think he’d run a good one for someone else.

In any case, the unrelenting attack on the republican candidate by the media has been forecast by anyone with half a brain.

As always, the republican strategy to overcome that is to complain that journalists just aren’t fair.

Unbelievable. The republican strategy is to whine.

Would someone please put a general who understands warfare in charge of this campaign? They understand information war and will come up with “other-than-whining” strategies to deal with it.

I’d go after Schoomaker, Keane, or Franks.

Sounds good to me. Ever since Romney won the nomination, his campaigning effectiveness has evaporated. Whatever changed needs to be changed again.
