The Broward County School District said it made history Wednesday as the first district in the country since 1994 to support October as LGBT History Month.

The indoctrination of America's youth continues. Too bad we don't teach children to speak properly anymore. College grads who say "I was like, oh my God, you know. And she was like whatever. I like literally think it is like amazing," should not have advanced past grade school.

There’s also a “Gay Pride” month, which is sometime in the Spring, I think. So this particular sexual impulse, which some people in a free society have a right to believe is immoral and not to be publicly endorsed and celebrated, actually gets two entire months out of 12. What a nightmare our society has become!

I thought it was June? I refuse to give up my October. October is Italian-American month - Columbus, and all that.

In June in the South, there aren’t any students in school. No indoctrination can occur.

If you told anyone from even fifty years ago that we had an entire, powerful culture here centered around what orifice you have sex with and trying to act a different sex than your own, they would have not believed it.

Their reactions would be:

1) That's creepy
2) That's stupid
3) That's disgusting
or
4) That's horrid. You do realize no country can tolerate that, it will implode? How will you stop from oversexualizing your children, from being destroyed by disease, from the family, the bedrock of society, being destroyed?

Back in the mid 1980’s I gave birth to two children in Broward County. During the years both my spouse and I worked for a high tech company - we were alarmed that neither of us met a single co-worker whose teen actually graduated high school. The drop-out rate at the time was hovering at 50%. It didn’t help that the area we resided in was infamous as a Spring break destination. Then, as the economy turned sour - Governor penalized industry with punitive taxes - we packed our bags and moved out of Florida.
