Whatever it takes, win.

Obamugabe ought to be attacked...he sucks.

But Romney also must be like Reagan: project a happy future, lay out two or three things to do.

Romney, to his credit, has done that—it just hasn’t been given attention. A greater focus and emphasis must be given.

There are articles like this for every single Republican candidate going back to Lincoln, most likely.

The usual crap.

“The decision not to define Romney, but to attack Obama over the spring and summer was a huge, strategic mistake,” a Republican strategist with knowledge of the inner-workings of the campaign told The Daily Caller in an interview. “The assumption that the race for presidential election defaults in a bad economy to the challenger is wrong.”

When did Romney attack Obama???? I've not even seen a Romney ad except on YouTube this season. (Although in this indigo-blue state it would be a waste of money.) I only thought Romney started spending ad money a couple of weeks ago.

“’...Republican strategist Alex Castellanos, who once worked for Romney, said he ‘wouldn’t overestimate the conflict in Romneyworld.’”

Gee, what a surprise.

I know one thing for sure, I’ve seen probably 100 spots on TV for Obama and 1 or two for Romney.

What the hell is going on, I thought Romney was bringing in money hand over fist.

“It’s time to admit the Romney campaign is an incompetent one,” former Reagan speechwriter Peggy Noonan wrote in the Wall Street Journal on Wednesday.

“It’s not big, it’s not brave, it’s not thoughtfully tackling great issues,” Noonan writes. “It’s always been too small for the moment.

Mitt, you are doing just fine if PN thinks otherwise.

Keep up the good work!

too many people in America believe socialism is a good thing

capitalism and it’s benefits must be defined and demonstrated through historic example. conversely, socialism and the massive government dependence that comes with it must be shown for where it always leads

I don’t recall Romney ever attacking Obama in the spring and summer? What did he say? Does Romney have much of the McPain staff on board for the fall campaign? If so, he will lose.

Why do they keep citing Peggy Noonan. She does not represent conservatives.

Romney did NOT attack Obama. His idea was that it would scare off independent voters. That's the huge mistake, and what Romney's team wants to do: shred Obama with negative ads.

In light of the now famous video of Romney saying he won’t be able to count on the support of the 47 percent of Americans who are dependant on government, others are arguing Romney should use the leak to double down and argue the same points “loudly and often and without embarrassment.”

Mike Savage, Laura Ingraham, Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levine all have in common advice to the Romney campaign.

Me, I do not like Romney because he seems too much like an establishment candidate; McCain comes to mind. But I support Romney and will vote for him.

I just hope that he does not self destruct with limp handshake responses, inconsistencies, and mild mannered approach to issues.

Reagan was strong and unyielding on his conservative principles. I am not sure where is Romney.

If people wish to worry themselves sick over this election, then they will suffer needlessly. A simple alternative exists:

Trust God.

Peg, Tucker, etc....you didn’t want a big, brave, bold-colors, tackling-the-big-issues, taking-the-big-risks candidate. You wanted a safe candidate. And you got him. It’s kind of late to worry that maybe you asked for the wrong thing. Maybe in 2016.
