If you are a starting pitcher..losing 2 out of 3 ain't success, friend. And if you are a relief pitcher losing 2 out of 3 ain't success either. In fact you will be shipped off...and maybe out of a job.

As a batter...it's much different....33 hits out of 100 is great hitting. Why, do you ask? Because that's the standard. That's how hard it is.

Boring? I dunno...golf, tennis, soccer anyone? They are sports...and you like them or you don't.
