No matter what Mitt Romney wanted this week to be about, it's clear that it's going to be about one thing: A campaign that is off message and in disarray.
The series of stories Monday morning that laid bare latent tensions within the Romney campaign, and in particular, displeasure with the one of the GOP candidate's trusted advisers, Stuart Stevens, turnout out to be just the beginning.
But it was the late-day hidden camera dump by Mother Jones' David Corn and video researcher James Carter that turned out to be the day's real atomic bomb. The leaked videos showed a series of candid moments from a May Romney fundraiser at which the presidential candidate said, among other things, that no matter what" he does, 47 percent of the population is going to vote for Obama because they are "are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it."
In the video, Romney is also shown saying, "My job is not to worry about those people. I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives."
Even so, voters are clearly waiting for the debates to make a final judgment on Romney. At least that was the take away from a focus group of suburban swing voters from Northern Virginia voters conducted last night in Fairfax, Virginia by Peter Hart for the Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania.
Despite being inundated with campaign ads,

The adjectives indicate that the MSM is so excited that they are actually breathing heavier than a woman going through orgasm.
” Speaking of Rove power and manipulation (on another thread) , someone needs to ask Rove if this is what he had in mind with Romney. “
Yeah.
BTW did anybody notice the Wisconsin recall vote result was 53.1% to 46.3% ??

WI is the cradle of liberalism, right? This means the less psycho parts of the country will be even more sane.
I hope you’re right although I was highlighting the ratio as related to who pays income taxes and who gets handouts..
On the video, big friggin deal. I know the 47% is a wrong figure, but 53% would be a majority, wouldnt it now?
That’s the frustrating part , the media pays more attention to the minority
Position on many occasions.
They don’t realize that these are the people who fund the essential programs, and yes the freebies

I know.
That being said, sometimes my “leap of logic”-o-matic jumps a bit too far.

That’s exactly what Romney should say everytime he’s asked about the statement. “Didn’t you see the democrat convention?”
But I’m afraid his stuttering will do him in. Especially during the debate. The press will say he can’t handle the pressure. Never mind if obama stutters and rambles.
That is why Romney has to be calm, like he was on that fundraiser tape. He is so calm when he knows the camera is not on him but when the camera is on him he becomes robotic. He has to be the Romney on that tape, THAT is the Romney that will resonate with people.
The Democratic Convention was ALL about begging for free stuff..begging for free birth control, abortions, health care, gas, food, housing, everything..the DNC is the entitlement party..gimme gimme gimme but expect the rest of us to pay for it..that is what Romney has to get across to the American people..if he conveys that message no matter what the pravda media says Romney will win
I've got one of those! I just didn't know what it was called.
Hey, anyone but that breathless Obama whore Anne Compton: ABC News. That biotch is going to make me drive off the road one of these days!
And why, in your own opinion, would you say that I am "ahead?"
I was not going to vote for Romney.
I changed my mind.
Romney will get one more vote that he wouldn't have gotten.
You were "Glad to see" that.
In my opinion, you're ahead.
Looking back at your posting history, you're not the Willard-bot that you came off as.
However, if the candidate doesn't deserve my vote, he's not getting my vote. The "...a vote for anyone other than Romney, or no vote at all, is a vote for Obama..." line of thinking is B.S. and will piss me off every time it's used, regardless of who uses it.
In that case, the fact that 2+2=4 must infuriate you as well. This is not rocket science.
For most people anyway.
Let's get something straight: I am not here to make friends with you. In fact, I actually don't care if you vote or not, or who you vote for. But I WILL explain the stupidity of not voting every time some idiot thinks he is proving that he has the most conservative balls on this website because he's the only one who sees through Mitt Romney's BS. EVERYONE on this website hates the fact that Mitt Romney is our candidate. He had zero support here in the primaries. So if you can't bring yourself to vote for him, do the rest of us a favor and keep it to yourself. Regardless of what you tell yourself, are not saying anything profound, or orignal. And you ARE helping Barak Obama.
Go in peace.
Glad to see you're re-thinking that...
Too late. Can't change your story now. You care.
