President Barack Obama and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu will meet on Sunday in an unannounced meeting, The London Telegraph reported Sunday. There has been no confirmation or denial from Washington - but the Prime Ministers spokesman Mark Regev told Arutz Sheva on Sunday that the newspapers report they will meet on Sunday is incorrect.
Concerning a meeting in the near future, he issued a no comment response.
The reported meeting is to take place as 25 countries deploy warplanes and warships in the Persian Gulf (Strait of Hormuz) in annual maneuvers, in the largest exercise ever.

Maybe Obama wants to invite him for some golf and fund raising.

Obama playing catch up in his political run for office. He is doing anything so that he can win. No more wanted to meet with Netanyahu than you can call him white

To keep the Strait of Hormuz open after Israel hits Iran and the mullahs seek to retaliate somehow against the West.

If a Netanyahu-Obama meeting takes place, it could be a saving political grace for both political leaders. A direct discussion presumably would shelve the public differences between Israel and the United States for the rest of the presidential campaign, even to the extent of Netanyahus private promise to stop issuing hints of an attack on Iran. (Emphasis added.)
Now what might be President Obama's interest in keeping things cool until after the election?
Surely it has nothing to do with U.S. domestic politics. /s
As to the cessation of Netanyahu's hints of an attack on Iran, those will cease when the die is cast for an attack.

Since Iraq has no fighters and Iran is shipping men and arms to Syria via Iraqi air space, seems like there is a possibility the IAF will go the other way.

This is Obama's last warning from Bibi. Either stand behind Israel or get out of the way.
Israel has been conducting a cyberwar against Iran for years. It will break out into open hostilities before the US election. Maybe in a week or two.

Grain of salt. I suspect that this story of a meeting might be meant to fog the air with some disinformation.
