Only now that his future subjects have been informed that the prince is well, so has the Taliban been informed that he's at Camp Bastion, which can expect more fun and games. Who releases this sort of information?

Nothing against Prince Harry, but I resent the tone of this article that implies that all is well because he is safe. I’m sure the families of the two slain Marines are not comforted by his safety.

We ain’t killin’ enough of these animals.

Islam has been at war with civilization for 1500 years. We are currently locked in the latest escalation of that war. And, we are under the leadership of, arguably, a kindred spirit of theirs...

Time to take off the gloves and resolve this.

British royals have fought at the front line for two millenia - it’s part of their duty to our country and it’s not the first time the enemy has been islam and I doubt it will be the last. Harry calls himself the ‘Bullet Magnet’ so he’s under no misapprehensions about his role and I’m sure he can’t wait to get even next time he’s on a mission in his WAH-64.

PS - you’re a bit behind the times with the term ‘subjects’. Their haven’t been any since 1st January 1983 when the 1981 British Nationality act came into force - we’re all citizens now.

You can thank the British Ministry of Defense. They released the information as to when and where Prince Harry would be deployed before he ever went. http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2012/sep/07/prince-harry-afghanistan-apache-helicopter?newsfeed=true

Oh, thank God it was only marines sacrificed at the altar of Jihad and not the special, wonderful Prince Harry bare butt of Las Vegas. Dempsey might have had to change the policy of planting jihadists on the bases had something happened to the Prince.

Dang. Where is the memory, brain and spirit of Reagan and Thachter? Don’t look in McBackstabber’s senate office; it’s not there. These liberal a$$hats are going to get us nuked. For real.

So is Harry being punished for the naked photographs?

I hope they don’t punish Kate and send her there too.

I’d be very surprised if he was ever actually at Camp Bastion any longer than a photo-op and refueling - if that.

If he was/is, then the Brits really are morons.

The militia, which is leading a 10-year insurgency against 117,000 NATO troops, said it carried out the assault to avenge a U.S.-made film deemed insulting to Islam that has sparked deadly riots across the Middle East and North Africa.

Right. Thats today. Yesterday it was something else. Tomorrow, it will be something else again.

These are afghans we're dealing with, and muslim afghans at that. When you are muslim, outrage is a full time job.

...the Taliban have vowed to kill the third in line to the British throne...

They should spread the rumor that Harry was in the movie. That will give them a chance to clear out a few more of the buggers.

So they wanted to kill Prince Harry but took out two Harriers instead. Maybe there was a translation error.

My problem with this article is calling this a terror attack. This was not terrorism, this was war. They acted as a military unit and attacked a military base. While I mourn for the family of the Marines killed in this attack,we are at war and this was a legitimate military target. Killing civilians and attacking embassies is terrorism.
