Today I went out into the field here in Chicago looking to talk to some of the striking teachers but no one in a red-shirt was anywhere to be found (or, if they were wearing one, they had nothing to do with the teachers’ union strike). A journalist friend of mine asked me to nose around and see if I could uncover anything about slain Ambassador Chris Stevens, who was rumored to be gay. A former “roommate” of Stevens by the name of Austin Tichenor lives and works in Chicago and while making calls to friends of mine in the theater world who know him I also thought to check some sources with the city who deal with the State Department and foreign dignitaries when they are in town.
Of course, they’ve all been talking about Ambassador Stevens’ murder by Muslims in Libya: and all of them are incredulous that the State Department sent a gay man to be ambassador to a Muslim country. News reports continue to indicate that the Muslims who murdered Stevens also raped him repeatedly, before and after his death.

At no time should Chris Stevens sexual orientation be a factor in how heinous his assassination was. Some of the posts in this thread are just downright disgusting.
Remember that Chris Stevens represented The President, The Congress, The United States, and The American People in Libya. His assassination is a direct affront to the United States.
The man died serving his country, and should be treated with dignity and respect.
That’s all that anyone should care about, not what his sexual orientation may or may not have been.
How is anyone smearing the ambassador? The point is to smear Obama and Hillary. Why can’t you grasp that?

Stevens had no wife and kids. He was a lifelong homosexual. He was repeatedly raped both before and after his death.
The motive for his killing had absolutely nothing to do with some obscure film the no one had ever heard of. This is a lie the MSM and Obama Administration spread for the idiots. It appears Steven's was killed because he was a homosexual.

Liberals aren’t debating. We are conservatives and I never said we debated anything. I said discussed. Obama and Hillary should not have made Stevens a sitting duck. Surely you won’t argue with that.

Who cares. He may have been a gay ambassador, but he was OUR ambassador. And he was murdered by muslims after being left unprotected by Obama and Hillary Clinton. THAT is what I care about. That and the anti-American foreign policy of the Obama administration. We definitely need to vote this muslim out of office in a land-slide this November. And we need to elect a very conservative Senate and House to help clean up the destruction he has been doing to our Republic.
