Gawker has interviewed Cindy Lee Garcia, who played the mother whose young daughter was given over to Muhammad.

Garcia claims the script was originally titled Desert Warriors and was about ancient Egypt, not about Islam or religion. The Muhammed character was called Master George when the scenes were shot. "Muhammed" was then dubbed over in post-production, along with other references to Islam.

I would say this crappy production is getting more interesting.
