Governor Palin has been warning us about this. Via Facebook:
President Obama is clearly revealing his rapid loss of any grip on the economic and security issues that are of utmost importance to our country. His economic and foreign policy blunders are manifesting chaos. On the same day when we see more chaos erupting in the Middle East and President Obama declaring that Egypt is no longer considered our ally, the Federal Reserve announced that it will spend $40 billion a month to purchase mortgage-backed securities with no end date set. QE3 is upon us.
In a speech nearly two years ago, I asked: If [QE2] doesnt work, what do we do then? Print even more money? Whats the end game here? Where will all this money printing on an unprecedented scale take us? Do we have any guarantees that QE2 wont be followed by QE3, 4, and 5, until eventually inevitably no one will want to buy our debt anymore? What happens if the Fed becomes not just the buyer of last resort, but the buyer of only resort?
As predicted, QE3 is upon us. Is it any wonder that the dollar is down against major currencies? This temporary, artificial economic stimulus bought at the expense of high inflation is no substitute for a stable currency and genuine long-term economic recovery. This is what happens when big government centralized planners try to plan our economy. President Obama is no doubt happy, though, that this latest sugar fix comes 53 days before the election.
- Sarah Palin
Palin just doesn’t get it. All this complaining - yet the Dow Jones is up isn’t it!? Happy Days are here again. /s
What Benny is doing here WON'T WORK, it has NEVER worked.
All it will do is jack up the princes on everything and I think we learned that once gas prices spill over 4-5 Bucks a gallon the economy STOPS.
But the most infuriating part is that many people still won't chalk this up to Ubama or his polices, brainless sheep.
Unlike Sarah, I say we all need to get behind her. (or in front if need be)
R&R should have a field day with this news.”
And Ryan is going to vote for increasing the debt level which includes a whole lot of extra money for Syria.
I guess I know who's pulling the strings now.
TYVM!
If 0bama acts true to form, if non-preferred demographic members own those houses, they’ll be foreclosed on and the houses given to preferred demographic members.
Keep bleeding the patient until he gets better.
They're about to pass a $1 trillion supplement (or whatever it's called - 6 month thingee), that's where they are!
I might add, that includes Paul Ryan, reportedly planning to vote yes.
The $1 TRILLION DOLLAR package includes $12 or $16 Billion in aid to Libya.
Guess it doesn't matter, it's all newly printed money that we don't have!
What do they not understand about BROKE, BUSTED, THERE AIN’T NO MORE, EMPTY, ROCK BOTTOM?
They understand NOTHING!
35% cold calculation, 65% the book.
If not for the book, she would have run. And lost.
America is not ready for the truth, things have to get much worse.
But, at Indianola, she was ready to go. The next 30 days brought the book, and the Enquirer divorce lawyer story. Undoubtedly, those two things were related.
The idea that McGinnis had sources that the Palin family knew about and trusted was very bad mojo in terms of shalom in the home.
She did the right thing.
Laura Ingraham is right. If Romney/Ryan can't beat Obama in this s##thole of an economy, it's time to tear down the Republican party and start over (actually it may well be time anyway).
Each QE has done less good then the one before it - and more harm. What the end game? Look at Greece - when the EU is tired of carrying them...
Don’t buy it. The Palins denied it. I am left to choose between believing them and the likes of Joe McGinnis, a man capable of lying for years at a time, just to write a book (Fatal Vision). Character matters. Unless some objective evidence can be put on the table, I am still convinced there were other matters in play that convinced her not to run.
Thanks onyx. Spot on assessment from Palin, as usual.
Exactly. It's too easy to define Obama as a blundering fool, based on our own sense of normalcy and what is right. People need to take off their own filters and see him through his own twisted philosophy and extreme actions.
