I agree. Romney did a great job with his response today.

The following screaming headline, along with a scowling picture of Romney, appears on Yahoo’s home page:

“Mitt Romney politicizes Mideast violence”

I give a lot of credit to Romney. He did a very good job, great statement, and he spoke with the Obama media and answered every single question, sounded very Presidential. Of course I wont compare him to Reagan because there is only ONE Ronald Reagan, but Romney did a very good job

Romney faced the nation by taking questions from journ-o-lists, Obama turned his back on us and them.

I NEVER in a million years thought I’d say this:

Mitt Romney was the ONLY adult in the room today.

Reagan would be pleased. Romney stood up to the press, quietly, calmly and told them the TRUTH.

Wondering how this will be treated tonight on FOX. Sean may call Levin “The Great One,” but he’s not too quick defending him. Dodo is perfect for the oh-so-professorial Noonan. She’s obsolete and needs to get back to deconstructing Proust.

Romney obviously does not hate America unlike the radical socialist from Chicago.

I wasn’t sure Romney was the right choice for the GOP. After today, any of those doubts have vanished.

You can tell a lot about what a person believes by what they say during a crisis. Romney’s remarks were appropriate, and to his credit, he hasn’t backed down.

I’m all in for Romney. We’ve got to get all of our GOP friends out to vote.

I also agree Romney led the way here. The fact that the mainstream media kicked into overdrive to protect Hussein is evidence of it too.

Still, we’re fighting a losing battle against the media. Now and again we can overcome the bias, but in the end it is simply too much most of the time. I really is time for conservatives to simply buy up every media outlet we can. There are plenty of well heeled conservatives/Republicans, why isn’t more of an effort made to simply buy these biased city papers, or TV networks, or cable outlets? Even if they are money losers in the short to medium term, the liberals don’t seem to mind losing money to spread their propaganda - maybe its time folks on our side are going to have to be willing to do the same.

Conservatives need to create our own media. Let’s reject the leftist media altogether and begin taking over or building a competing news and entertainment establishment. At minimum, Republicans/conservatives should give equal weight to conservative news outlets like the Daily Caller, National Review, etc. No more should NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, get preferential treatment.

It was very good, all the scripted DNC/MSM panning notwithstanding. He has impressed me a couple of times in the last few weeks, and I have been pretty rough on him the last couple of years... in fact, I was - dare I say it - proud of him for saying what everyone that dissed him ought to have been thinking.

I can’t go as far as “Reaganesque”, but Romney said what needed to be said. He sounded like an AMERICAN, and yes, a president, unlike he who erroneously, sickeningly holds that title.

I’m sick of the elitist old guard, they attack our side but never go after the elft and when the likes of Sarah does we get Noonan etc mouthing off.

Hell they can;t even go after this corrupt media, no sir they even agree to host thees rats as moderators

Did everybody see the same press conference I did? I thought Romney fumbled it and talked way too long. Reagan would have been pithier, and he wouldn’t have taken every stupid question from the Obamedia.

Or maybe my lenses are fogged by nostalgia.

Lessee, Romney goes to hurricane-devastated Gulf Coast, Obama goes . . . campaigning.

Romney pays attention to events in Middle East, Zero goes . . . campaigning.

One is a president, and the one in office, is not.

Romney behaved like someone who is accustomed to making executive decisions and then sticking to them.

I've wondered whether he would at least make statements friendly with the bulk of us American peasants, even though such pro-defense, pro-Israel statements would go against the grain of the bipartisan political/regulator class. Will go to the video to see now, and will also look up any statements he may have made in regards to Israel. I remain skeptical, but Romney might be earning some points toward votes instead of only looking for big donations.
