General Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the U.S. military's Joint Chiefs of Staff, spoke with Pastor Terry Jones by phone on Wednesday and asked him to withdraw his support for a film whose portrayal of the Prophet Mohammad has sparked violent protests - including one that ended with the death of America's envoy to Libya

“...To me, it appears to be an attack on the First Amendment now - a ready-made excuse to label anything that offends these animals as Hate Speech.
It starts already: http://weaselzippers.us/2012/09/12/cair-bans-daily-caller-from-press-conference-brands-website-a-hate-group/
In any sane world this would be the end of his career.
“..Is this a violation of the Posse Comitatus Act?...”
Do you honestly think this admin CARES?
Time doenst equal right,,, my FRiend...

It's insulting. Blaming anyone or anything but Islam is absurd.

Apparently under this administration it is the job of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs to call pastors and beg them to withdraw materials that might offend Muslims.
Be afraid, America. Be very afraid.
We need more compassionate wars on those who anger the Muslims and their religion of peace. Bring Islam here in great numbers, to help Americans understand.
It's time that reckless dipstick put a sock between his purple lips.
His right to speak is getting people killed and it's swelling the ranks of Al-Qaeda.
Hey wait a minute.... if his comments are true (the tensions it will inflame and the violence it will cause,” )
Then doesn’t that mean violent video games and violent movies are to blame for Columbine and other mass shootings/crimes when the evidence shows the killer played these games and watched movies like natural born killers?
This is a perfect example of how character matters. We know Obama has no character and he surrounds himself with people without character.
General, do you remember the specific instance when you decided to become a political puppet to further your career?
After watching this media attack Romney today to cover up the unprecedented errors from the Embassy, State Department , and White House, and now this...I am beginning to wonder how our nation survives our present situation. We have absolutely bumbling, leftist morons running our country, and an army of radical leftist media members covering for it. We have faced serious media bias for a long time, but this is absolutely outrageous. This foreign policy is going to get many people killed, and likely here at home, and the media is enabling it.
Since the whole premise is wrong, the General is barking up the wrong tree. I guess that’s where the oxymoron “Military Intelligence” came from.
The ragheads aren’t rioting because of the film; they’re rioting because for a solid week at their poor stupid pitiful convention Obummer and the democRATS repeatedly spiked the football over the killing of Bin Ladin.
The rallying cry during the riot had nothing to do with the movie! The rallying cry was, “Obama, Obama, we are a billion MORE Osamas!”
Maybe the General should talk to his Commander in Chief!
If Obama is Concerned with Feelings in Muslim World, Why is He Bragging So Much About Killing Osama?
They used to wax poetic about how the pen is mightier than the sword, but this is ridiculous. That the head of the Joint Chiefs would call a no-name private citizen in the hopes of staving off regional conflict is one of the most stunning developments in the annals of asymmetric warfare I have ever read.
This might incite every red-blooded American to make fun of Mohammed on YouTube videos. Now let’s see what happens!
