Before Romney issued his statement today, an open mic capture the press coordinating questions to ask Romney, with one saying no matter who he calls on were covered on the one question. Ive transcribed it to the best of my ability but the audio is below for verification:
Ive labeled one as the CBS News reporter as I believe it is Nancy Cordes who works for CBS News. Ive I gotten that wrong I apologize and will correct.
UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: pointing out that the Republicans *unintelligible* Obama .
CBS REPORTER: Thats the question.
UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: *unintelligible*
CBS REPORTER: Yeah thats the question. I would just say do you regret your question.
UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: Your question? Your statement?
CBS REPORTER: I mean your statement. Not even the tone, because then he can go off on
UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: And then if he does, if we can just follow up and say but this morning your answer is continuing to sound *becomes unintelligble*
CBS REPORTER: You cant say that..
**Later**
CBS REPORTER: Im just trying to make sure that were just talking about, no matter who he calls on were covered on the one question.
UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: Do you stand by your statement or regret your statement?

Like you I am speechless and unfortunately not clueless. It is as bad as we intuit.
I just drove from fort worth to Taos today so my info was very minimal..but believe me...anyone paying attention knows that Obama has screwed up.big time and that the media is all about protecting Obama from any perceived fallout from his epic fail of response. I am still speechless and fixing to go on a trout fly fishing adventure in the Colorado outback and I am frankly scared to be out of touch.......Obama could blow up the whole world with his incompetence in less than 24 hours!!
Praying for our country.
contact the advertisers and tell them the bad results of sponsoring such bias.
I like it. Game on.
Ain't it the truth!
It will never work. CNN,MSNBC,ABC,CBS,NBC,FOX have such a myriad of BIG time advertisers, plus these same advertisers advertise on ALL of said networks. I wish I was wrong. We must come up with some other plan. Maybe protest at their actual T.V. stations.
“Theres no pretense of being anything other than propagandists...”
They c ould get away with this in good times, but today they have 0 credibility left (and the numbers show it). People have adjusted to having the media in the tank for Obama, and vote accordingly (the election disasters for the Dems since his coronation bear that out - millions of voters simply ignored the media and sent Dems packing).
“it is clear that they simply will do anything and everything they are able to in order to distort the record in favor of liberals.”
They can’t do enough; the losses in 2009 and 2010 indicate that few people are listening to them. Americans look around them and realize they have been hoodwinked.
Mitt should greet them as the p.r. contingent of the Obama Re-election Team. He should openly make snide comments - ask them if they’ve co-ordinated all of their questions, etc. They should be ridiculed for this.
‘______Osama..and I make no spelling error...’
The Spell Check on my WEBTV system gives me ‘Osama’ every time, for ‘Obama.’
Swear!
Once Osama was gone, I wondered if his name would disappear from my Spell Check . . .
Well, with modern technology, much is possible!
(It’s still there - but you knew that)!
“I really dont understand how the GOP hopes to win any election when 99% of the media is actively supporting the DNC.”
The media has to be dealt with in order to preserve our electoral process. Even though their influence is not what it once was, they have influence, and they are now so far from unbiased that they would need to travel at light speed to get to it within the next 100 years.
There are lots of ways to deal with the media, but it has to be refashioned. This will require neutralizing the celebrity status too many of them have achieved, and by using the natural competition among them to dismantle the anti-conservative collaborations they’ve forged. We absolutely must get a Republican into the White House, and from there I would start with the White House Press corp.
I would make it policy that access to the administration be given on a revolving basis (e.g. a White House press pass could never be used by the same reporter for more than 1 week at a time, without a required 1 month period in between). The reasoning would be that “the administration recognizes the great importance of the press in America, and in the spirit of fairness and equality that many in the press have espoused, we want to give all reporters, even the most junior, a chance to have the same access as their more senior colleagues.”
The main reason MSM players support the left, is because having the left in power increases their importance. It’s really that simple. They may say, and even delude themselves into thinking that they support the left because of shared ‘noble’ ideals, but the exact opposite is true. The left is all about ‘the oligarchy of the enlightened few’, and the MSM elites see themselves as part of that oligarchy. It’s 100% about self-importance and stature. 100%. That is why the best way to turn the press back into the ‘unbiased purveyors of truth’ that they are supposed to be is by neutralizing celebrity and stature in the media. This, is in the very best interest of the media itself, and would restore media credibility.
Hmm...
Trying to rework that as a perfect bumper sticker - How about:
Beware: “Fourth Estate” Dinosaur media are the “Fifth Column”
Sounds good,a little to long.
How about
PROTEST THE PRESS
clearly they were given their “marching orders.”
I have no doubt the statement they were trying to get Romney on was his criticism of Obama’s handling of the terrorist attacks on our embassy in Egypt.

Good grief, is this Jimmy Carter years all over again or WHAT?!!!
Underserved Nobel Peace Prize, inflation, sky-high gas prices, terrorism, and all. Lets hope it ends in a landslide the way Carter’s presidency did.
MANY AMERICANS UNDERSTAND THAT THE MEDIA IS CRIMINAL (EVEN FOX “WE REPORT - YOU DECIDE” WHICH BEGS THE QUESTION, ‘WHO DECIDES WHAT YOU REPORT?’) WHAT THEY DEPRIVE US OF HEARING ON THE NEWS IS WHAT MAKES THEM CRIMINAL. ONE WOULD HOPE THAT WE WOULD CIRCLE THE WAGONS AND DEMAND THAT THE MEDIA BE UNBIASED AND IF THEY DONT COMPLY - BOYCOTT THE COMPANIES THAT KEEP THEM AFLOAT. BUT WE ARE EITHER TOO SOPHISTICATED, STUPID OR INDOLENT TO ACTUALLY TAKE TO THE STREETS TO BRING THESE COMPANIES DOWN.
HERE IS A CLASSIC CASE IN POINT: WE KNOW HUNDREDS OF COMPANIES THAT SUPPORT GAY MARRIAGE (WHICH, IPSO FACTO, MAKES THEM ANTI-FAMILY)SEE LINK: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_supporters_of_same-sex_marriage_in_the_United_States#Corporations
BUT NEVERTHELESS WE CONTINUE TO PATRONIZE THEM AS WE WILL CBS, NBC, ABC, ET AL....
WE MAY INTELLECTUALLY CONCEDE THAT THERE ARE EVILS WHICH SURROUND US BUT PRACTICALLY DO NOTHING ABOUT IT AND LIVE LIKE INDIFFERENT ZOMBIES...ONLY WHEN WE ARE STRIPPED OF OUR ‘BREAD AND CIRCUS’ WILL WE PERHAPS COME TO OUR SENSES BUT THEN IT WILL BE TOO LATE. MEANTIME, OUR THOUGHTS ARE DOMINATED BY WEIGHTIER MATTERS LIKE,’I HOPE I HAVE ENOUGH CHARCOAL FOR THIS WEEKEND’S TAIL GATING PARTY...’
People shouldn’t give much credit to Fox. Although they’re not anti-Republican, they’re certainly not friendly to conservatives. The Fox reports on the Egypt and Libyan atrocities continually refer to those responsible as “ultra-conservative”. They know that such terms are the life-blood of liberals, who like to equate murdering islamic nut-jobs with folks at your local Baptist church - in their eyes, both equally capable of jihad. There is nothing conservative about religious based murder. Fox knows better, but chooses to play the same game as the rest of the MSM.
Oh gosh, I thought you were already in the outback and serenely out of touch!
Yikes. I want to you be able to enjoy your vacation.
Love, prayers and hugs. See you soon!
The Marxist is a monster.
