Pizza and politics may not mix, at least a restaurant owner photographed bear-hugging President Obama.
Scott Van Duzer, the owner of the Florida pizza shop, struck fame for a photograph of him lifting President Barack Obama off the floor with a bear hug at his Big Apple Pizza & Pasta Restaurant in Fort Pierce in Sunday during a last-minute visit from the Commander-in-Chief.
The photograph made the front pages of newspapers around the country and the image was an Internet sensation at warp speed.
The good will was short-lived for Van Duzer though. He told Politico that people are boycotting his business because of the famous presidential hug.
People are saying a lot of bad things and boycotting my restaurant, Scott Van Duzer, 46, told Politico. Theres no middle line anymore, and thats exactly whats wrong with our country right now.

How much do you want to bet he was inundated with "internal polling" during that "meeting" about how this "event" was going to sky-rocket his business..? Didn't the advance people for Biden give a similar talk to the cookie store in VA? Those store owners turned down Biden's visit, and they were inundated with new customers from all over the country.
The pizza guy made his choice.

He should have thought of that before he decided to show himself to be an Obastard-worshiping, idiot liberal.

Sorry, but I have to agree with the guy. He hasnt done anything deserving of a boycott.Unfortunately, that's not your call to make for everyone else.
That is an individual decision.
Unless you're an arrogant and delusional member of the Hussein presidency.

He’s a scum-sucking Zero-lover.
Who cares if he goes out of business...he didn’t start it according to his idol.

There really is no evidence of an organized boycott.
I suppose if his customers are individually disgusted by his antics and choose not to spend their money at his pizza place, we really could not catagorize that as a boycott. It would merely be a choice to go elsewhere.

Just like elections, choices and actions have consequences. Some people never learn that lesson. Others learn the lesson but don’t think that they should have to live with their consequences.

I don’t know about a boycot but I make it a point not to give my business to anyone who actively supports this commie POS!!! But that’s just me.
