Wanis al-Shari, Libya’s deputy interior minister, said the crowd in Benghazi attacked the building and that the information was confirmed by the US embassy in the capital, Tripoli, on Tuesday.
“There are fierce clashes between the Libyan army and an armed militia outside the US consulate,” Abdel-Monen Al-Hurr, spokesman for Libya’s Supreme Security Committee, said, adding that roads had been closed off and security forces were surrounding the building.
A US embassy source said there had been “an attack” on the diplomatic office in Benghazi, but gave no further details.

U.S. Embassy Condemns Religious Incitement
September 11, 2012
The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others
> a human wave attack.
With enough ammo and your six covered a couple of machine gunners can crate an ever growing mountain of muzzy scum.
It will become so tall and steep that the gutter scum will need crampons and climbing skills to crawl up and die.
Finally,a small victory for the obama administration
The sovereign U.S. soil of our consulates and embassies are attacked and sacked and 0bowdown apologizes. I hate him. I really, truly hate him!
They hate us just as much as ever, the only difference now is that they share their hate with our pResident.
Yes, even a small number of marines can do a lot of damage At that point t becomes a political decision. Most dems throw stuff at the building and leave. Don’t recall what happened in Iran to try to stop them.
Blaming the film is retarded. Do Christians burn down theaters showing GLEE? Do Jews commit arson atrocities against the anti-semitic Democrats?
Of course, civilized people do not do those things.
The film is immaterial to this event.
Black with a yellow spot in the center, with a load of goat speak along the top in yellow.
About as inspiring and imaginative as an 0barry speech.

Funny, I thought allowing an attack upon an embassy was an open act of war.
Two incidents
The building that burned was in Libya. The wall climbing and flag tearing was in Egypt.
Next group will start rioting will be Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia.
