A Mississippi NAACP executive is in jail after being convicted of voter fraud for fraudulently casting absentee ballots, including for four dead people.
Lessadolla Sowers, who is a member of the Tunica County NAACP Executive Committee, was convicted and sentenced in April for what a judge said were crimes that cut against the fabric of our free society.
She was given a five-year sentence for each of the ten counts of voter fraud for which she was convicted, but the sentencing judge allowed her to serve the terms concurrently, according to the Tunica Times.
Matthew Vadum, author of Subversion, Inc., notes Sowerss DNA was found on the inner seals of five envelopes that contained the absentee ballots, and liberal groups like the NAACP and ACORN have had a history of such shenanigans.

I previously wondered what was meant by “the ballot box is broken”. Now I know. The ballot box is broken. A valid vote is cancelled by an invalid vote. Broken.
30,000 dead voters registered on North Carolina’s voter rolls. This makes for some busy democrat activists. I bet it is the same or worse across the country. And that does not count the illegals voting using their fraudlent ids.
The GOP has really let the country down.
When it becomes impossible to take your country back through the ballot box, that leaves only one other way to take it back.
Every fraudulent vote cast robs a citizen of their constitutional right to cast a legitimate vote that counts.
I agree with you, I think it is treason too. 5 years is too lenient. I have said this before here, the law needs to be MUCH stiffer, how about something like 25 years PER fraudulant ballot,(and the loss of ALL future voting rights) once you see an 800 year sentence, maybe that will make the next person think about it. (I believe some people have cast 1000’s of bogus ballots.) They should be eligible for parole in about 12,000 years.
Did a search, nothing came up. This is the first I’ve heard of it.
This subhuman should be waterboarded to get the truth...then deported.
“Hey, for Dem chick, she aint too bad a looker. LOL!”
My guess is that she scared the dead voters out of their graves! And I thought Moochelle was “unattractive.”
Six pack of beer to the first one to send me a link of a non-Democrat Party member being convicted of vote fraud within the last 70 years.
If you think about the effects they are no different ... maybe worse. If the very people become disillusioned that they no only can trust voting, you have then undermined the complete system, thus the social tapestry unwinds.
A five year sentence? but that’s unfair! She’ll miss the next election! /s

Impossible. Eric Holder says there is no voter fraud, that Voter IDs and voter roll purging are efforts to suppress the minority vote.
And sure enough, Lessadolla Sowers was only trying to ensure that the votes of these deceased minority members were not suppressed.
Well, at least our state prosecutes!
Looking through the thread after reading the article, she’s a real beaut, too.
The DOJ is holding up the enactment of our Voter ID law. We met all requirements of the petition and it was approved by a wide margin of voters and was presented in plenty of time to be approved and in place for the 2012 elections but apparently the DOJ doesn’t care that my vote doesn’t count as a whole vote.
I just got back...saw this on the news while I was there.
Good on ya’, Missippy!
The thing that surprises me is that Holder didn’t intervene.
