...So if youre feeling nervy, irritable, depressed and/or tired of life by the polls this weekend, well, thats just how the MSM wants you to feel right now.

Wrong. The Republicans demoralized themselves when they ran a field of flawed candidates, permitted the media to shape the battlefield via primary debate questions and failed to circle wagons around Herman Cain in the face of unsubstantiated media allegations.
I don't think Cain was a viable presidential candidate but he would have made a formidable addition to any VP ticket.
Yes, I work in Mass north of Boston for a medical devices company ... you know, the type of industry that Zero is placing a 2.8% tax on REVENUES for Obamacare.
And yet these engineers, scientists, production people all think Zero is doing a good job.
When we start accruing for the new Medical devices tax next year, some 4 million+ R&D dollars will be gone ... along with the people who worked on those projects ... but they still love Zero.
I’ll have a better feel on election day. The lines went out the door and down th street at my tiny polling place. Saw a lot of first timers, youngsters and others I had not previously seen. We’ll see who’s in those lines this timearound
“The conservatives-wing of the party de-moralized themselves when they failed to defeat Romney. Some accepted and moved on. Others still behave like sour grape.”
Basically this. I didn’t care for him during the primary season. I would have rather had Herman Cain myself. But once MR was in, I figured “Oh well. It’s a fait accompli. Why be mad? Nothing he produces can possibly be as bad as the last 3 years.”
I had family members who were riding the Santorum and Gingrich bandwagons. Never felt either of them were electable. The former kept saying dumb things that made him into a target for liberals and the latter just came off as a scary-looking old man.
The neck-and-neck polls are fine. We can and will win if we believe we're able, believe we will, believe we must.
No one said this would be easy. Romney & Ryan need us with them to stop Obama. Sarah Palin needs us with her to election a solid Congress that will do battle on principle whatever new president we have in January 2013.
“They also have their lib poser, concern trolls, ABR opportunists, and other woe is me type on FR trying to get something going.”
How right you are. There was one FR Soros troll leading two surrender monkey parades simultaneously this weekend. FR needs a good scrubbing out to be rid of Soros and DU trolls. They’re all over the place like cockroaches.
My understanding is that some of these things you say about Romney may be overstated, others I know are true.
You’ll forgive me for not spending the time to delve into each one, because quite frankly at this point I don’t care.
Let me quote my boss who said “I don’t care if Romney has 14 wives and robbed 14 banks”, that’s pretty much how I feel too.
I’m willing to deal with the Romney problems if and when he gets elected.
Barack Obama is a fake, phoney, fraud who should never have been elected president and who would not have been elected president if he wasn’t 1/2 black. I don’t think anybody with a brain can deny that it was the cachet of electing the first black president that put him in office.
He has been a miserable failure while there and we are lucky he did not have any more success than he did. He truly does wish to “fundamentally transform” America, I’m pretty sure he’d like us to become some “workers paradise”.
I’ve said since the day he was inaugurated that I would work and vote for the Republican candidate this November. I live in NJ so my primary is in June, needless to say it was all over long before then. As I’ve said before the only candidate in the primaries I actively supported was Santorum, to whom I gave a small amount of money.
So, that is it. To me there is no good reason not to vote for Romney.
Exactly
This exactly backwards. It is the demorats that are demoralized. Anecdotely, all the obama voters I know are either not voting for him again or they are not “voting at all.”
I know my concern and panic is exactly what the MSN wants. Not so concerned about the Gallup and Reuters numbers. Its the fact Rasmussen has 0bama up 5 and at a 52% approval rating that has me panicked.

I don’t believe a word you’re saying. It’s not a recent Rasmussen poll. Looking at your posting history YOU have been relentlessly doing posts that are clearly meant to discourage conservative and Republican efforts. Obama’s administration may not have the transparency he promised, but you sure are transparent.
JediJones, you’re transparent also.
DEMORALIZED?! DEMORALIZED!
If America is actually this F!@#$%^& stupid...we don’t need no worries about being DEMORALIZED! /sarcasm LOL.
Not to mention, when has anyone Clinton’s campaigned for evern won anything?
I did notice that tsowellfan does not respond to repeated requirements that he back up his claim, that Republican internals show Romney down 5 in Ohio.
I don’t think he’s a troll, but he is disingenuous (read: baldfaced liar) to the extreme. We don’t sling claims around on this forum without backing them.
I completely disagree with you on the Dem Convention. It was a complete disaster for them and may have cost them the election.
Track them down and eat their children.
That’s good news. However, I don’t think it was trolls that got the demoralizing story about Romney’s comments on Obamacare going. It was (drumroll) the way the MSM wrote the lede for the stories that were posted about Romney’s comments. Words like “Romney says he likes some parts of Obamacare”. I made the rookie mistake of believing the way they reported it. Maybe not such a rookie, because, with Romney’s history, including Romneycare, it sounded quite credible.
Thank you for clarifying. I am relieved to hear it.
Libs are just trying to even the playing field, match energy with energy. They know they have no energy so what are they trying to do, do the same to us, by bringing up bogus poll numbers. Do I believe the election is close, OF COURSE IT IS, Obama probably did get a few point bounce from his Convention, but SO WHAT..McCain went from being down 6 before the Convention to being up 8. I remember McCain was leading in every single battleground state poll and what did that get him..he lost, BADLY..because by the time October came around the economy collapsed and it was over..McCain suspending his campaign put the final nail in his political coffin there was no bouncing back from that. So these polls in early September mean NOTHING, things can change.
What I dont understand is how I have seen poll after poll showing that people don’t trust the media, they say over and over again that they KNOW the media is in the tank for Obama, and even after all of that they STILL believe what the media feeds them. Its such a shame that people can’t think for themselves, still believe what the talking screen tells them to think.
