...So if youre feeling nervy, irritable, depressed and/or tired of life by the polls this weekend, well, thats just how the MSM wants you to feel right now.

I know my concern and panic is exactly what the MSN wants. Not so concerned about the Gallup and Reuters numbers. It’s the fact Rasmussen has 0bama up 5 and at a 52% approval rating that has me panicked.
They also have their lib poser, “concern trolls”, ABR opportunists, and other woe is me type on FR trying to get something going.
My tag:
Demoralization is a weapon of the enemy. Don’t get it, don’t spread it!
Will you give it up.
You must have been on FR for the past 10 hours running this
concern troll act.
If you are really so “panicked” then you wouldn’t need to be here.
I also just now saw the overnight re-run of the Meet the Press Interview wherein it has been pounded upon that Romney said he was going to keep Obamacare. He said nothing even remotely similar to what so many have been spreading around here. In response to a question from David Gregory about repealing Obamacare, Gregory said “So you are telling people with pre-existing conditions and parents keeping their children on their plans they will lose their health insurance?” to which Romney said that was incorrect - he said he would replace it with his own plan and expand free market opportunities for people to have the choice of purchasing outside of their employee plans with the same tax advantages. Completely different from what so many here have been saying all day.
Rasmussen has the Dems holding the Senate right now as well.
If you know you are in pig shit....you should probably get out.
Just stating the obvious...to me.
The Republicans de-moralized themselves when they nominated Romney.
I question the motives of anyone who claims to be a Romney supporter yet implies Romney’s really ahead, not to worry. Heck, he’s so far ahead he does not even need your vote so just don’t believe those polls showing Obama ahead. He’s losing BIG TIME.
Okay, so I guess their message is “no need to work harder”.
Better to play it safe and believe all polls that have Obama ahead. The worst that could happen is Romney will win in a 49 state landslide.
I would hate to think of what the results would be for those claiming that all polls showing Romney behind are lies. Move on, nothing to see here. Maybe an Obama landslide?
Play it safe. Use the data to benefit our side. Does that make sense to you?
I’m not taking any vacations anytime soon from this election. But it’s time those telling us Romney’s got it in the bag go and take one. They disturb me.
We did not win in 2004 or 2010 using that “nothing to see here” philosophy. We took all bad news seriously.
I think some Dem Underground plants have sneaked in. Posting misleading threads like “Romney says he’ll keep Obamacare” is just a weak attempt to demoralize conservatives. Like you said, when you actually look into these dumb claims, they don’t hold water. Dukakis got a mammoth convention bounce and still got his ass kicked. We still have two jobs reports, and if the last few years are anything to go by, the “recovery” stops dead at this point.
All this polling crap is just noise.
It is too far out to mean much of anything.
If Romney makes a fool of himself in the coming debates then worry. Its just wasted effort now.
Hey, ev, man-up and quit whining.
1. Polls can change over night.
2. Conventions distort polls - the candidates of each party get loads of praise and tons of face time which carry over to the polls. I suggest that the polls starting next week will carry far more information.
I knew we were in for a big swing against us in the polls as soon as I saw the Michelle Obama speech, and then doubly so after Bill Clinton’s. They were highly effective speeches that did exactly what they needed to do to both energize the Democrat base and convince people who don’t pay attention that Obama is a better alternative to not just Romney, but any and all Republicans. The Democrats seem to have highly skilled, ruthlessly deceptive, media masterminds running their campaign. We have a fat, bald dope named Karl Rove who’s gearing up to lose his 4th straight election (2 to the Democrats, 1 to the Tea Party) and has never once made an effort to change his strategy despite his consistent losses. Rove needs to be thrown under the bus once and for all.
Just stating the obvious truth.
You missed the whole point of this post.
Only weak-minded people de-moralize themselves...
