Is Mitt planning on having more than 1 wife?

If he (Mitt), were a Buddhist vs. the current president, would you vote for him?

Is it more relevant that a president,( or presidential candidate), has a Mormon religious background, or that he has Marxist political leanings, (and 3 year history of disastrous policies for our nation)?

Mitt could be a dread-locked Rastafarian and still be a better choice for our nation. Imagine what the next 4 years will be like with Obama and Co. in charge.

BTW I went to Glenn Beck's Restoring Love (AWESOME!) event in Texas.

The night before, he had a gathering of religious leaders and people, from every faith ,(thousands of people), and we were praying together, for the restoration of our religious liberty.

Our freedom to practice religion is under attack. Think about that. The democrats just openly booed God at their convention. Will things get better, or worse, for us ,(regardless of what religion we practice), if Obama gets another 4 years?

Buddhists do not claim to be Christians.
Romney may have more than one wife in a celestial marriage, we don’t know.
When Beck prayed who did he pray to?
mormonism teaches multiple godS.
If Romney were a Rastafarian at least he would be interesting.

Your whole post is a contradiction...

Just what were you trying to say...

I chose this particular part because since this threead is about mormonism and you reference Willard and his beliefs, there naturally are some glaring questions to be asked...

For instance since you stated “The democrats just openly booed God at their convention” and seem to require that we are “Think about that” I’ll offer the following comment..

If it offendes you to have the democrats do such a thing, why on Earth would you chose to hang out with people who do that ???

Mormons have doctrines and temple rituals on booing the GTod of the Bible and yet that does not seem to offend you...

Joey Smith stsrted his mormonism religion to boo God after he had been excommunicated from the Methodist Church for immoral unChristian acts and from the Presbyterian Church for enticing members to join his religion and spreading blasphemy amongst the congregation...

From the beginning he made doctrines that went against the Ten commandments and managed to trespass in all Ten...

He wanted to copy Mohammad and his resulting religion is closer to Islam than Christianity which he and his followers denounced...

blaspheming God, adultery, murder, stealing, coveting you name them they became a “virtue” in Smith’s new religion...

In the end Smith announced he was greater than the LORD Jesus Christ of the Christian Bible and one month later Jesus destroyed Joey Smith...

for more than 15 years God put up with the lies and evil and sins of Joey Smith...the raping of underaged girls, his occult practices, his murder and stealing..

at any time Joey Smith could have repented and been saved by the Blood that the LORD Jesus Christ shed on the Cross for Joey...

Joey died still in need of salvation..with a pagan Jupiter talisman arounds his neck or in his pocket for luck...he was never without it...

But God will not be mocked...

Joey Smith died an ignoble death shooting his way out of jail...he murdered at least 2 men in the process and his own brother got a bullet in the back that could have only come from Joeys gun...unless Taylor had one..

and calling out to the Free Masons in the crowd of mormons who were gathered outsuide to save him...

“Is there no help for the widow’s son ?”

Smith was a Mason having gone to the top the first day he joined along with his followers...

From the first their secret temple clothes and rituals included Masonic designs and handshakes and signs..

and today the mormon temples are decorsted with masonic symbols..

And God is still booed by the mormons ...

and they attack freedom of religion everytime they knock on the door of a Christian to say we are going to Hell if we dont become Mormons...

and everty time they deny the Trinity...

and every time they say that the LORD Jesus Christ is not God...

and that the Virgin Mary had sex with their mormon god to get pregnant..

and every time they say their book of mormon is the truth but the Chrsitian Bible is not...

All this is part of your deep concern isnt it ???

That's a red herring. It has nothing to do with the posted comment. No one mentioned anything about Mitt having more than one wife. In fact, I never mentioned Mitt at all, nor did I mention voting, or any other candidate running for the presidency. We were talking about Mormon doctrine and the LDS Church's official position on polygamy, not presidential politics.

Thus your comment is really not germane to the issue being discussed which is doctrinal not political. The fact is that the LDS Church does not reject polygamy in principle, it only condemns people contracting polygamous marriages outside of the First Presidency's approval. This doctrinal argument has nothing to do with voting for or against Mitt Romney.
