Obama will need that hat to keep his hair from getting mussed up when Mitt mops the floor with him. So why begrudge it.

It's a 60 day notification due to the WARN Act for any employer of more than 500 employees. The cuts would be effective January 1st, so the notifications go our November 1st. Perfect timing just days before the election. Obama has been trying to get his lackey Labor Secretary Hilda Solis to tell companies not to issue the notices. That is illegal. Companies won't expose themselves to the liability of being sued for not issuing the notices. The RATS have created a fine mess for themselves.

My employer has lots of DoD contracts. Many of us (myself included) are waiting for the other shoe to drop.

“REPORTS? What reports? We don’t need no stinkin reports.”

Obummer has missed a lot of things and what make anyone think these reports are any different?

VOTE ROMENY & RYAN on Nov. 6th.

Thanks for correcting my post. You make it very clear what’s going on here. This is also why O is telling everyone to vote Early — under his breath “before you get your layoff notice.”

I keep close tabs on my development staff, burn rates and tasking/coverage in addition to my technical work. Thankfully, I have some very competent co-workers doing the business development and day to day project management. My co-workers are looking really stressed as they work to keep the customer happy and staff fully engaged. The stress has nothing to do with the difficulty of the tasking. The concern is the budget axe swinging indiscriminantly with no thought for the consequences.
