Wait, according to CAIR America is an inhospitable place for Muslims to live?
(CNSNews.com) – A survey conducted by a coalition of religious organizations shows that the number of mosques in the United States has grown by 74 percent in the past 11 years – up from 1,209 in 2001 to 2,106 in 2011.
The statistics were released earlier this year by Faith Communities Today (FACT), which is affiliated with the Hartford Seminary’s Hartford Institute for Religion Research.
The survey also reveals where those mosques exist, including the 10 states with the largest number of mosques – New York (257), California (246), Texas (166), Florida (118), Illinois (109), New Jersey (109), Pennsylvania (99), Michigan (77), Georgia (69) and Virginia (62).
Vermont has the least number of mosques, with one located in that state.
The survey also shows that most mosques are located in metropolitan areas, with Greater New York City ranked No. 1 with 192 mosques. Southern California (120), Greater Chicago (90), Greater Philadelphia (63) and Greater Detroit (63) rounded out the top five metropolitan areas for mosque population.
That photo looks like the mosque in Perrysburg, Ohio. We sure are a bright bunch, allowing so many more mosques and radicals in the U.S. after 9/11. Our religious freedom is becoming our undoing.
While Muslims are busy building mosques in the Land of the Free, not one christian group is allowed to build a church in Saudi Arabia. Worse yet, in other parts of the Middle East, churches are being burned and destroyed by these purported people of faith.
That statistic alone is as abject a failure of the Federal Gov’mt on behalf of these United States as anything one could come up with.
Why even bother with a Dept of “Homeland Security”...may as well just call it “The Dept of Perpetual DC Federal Employment” and get it over with.
Stage 1:
Start immigrating - move into a country quietly
Stage 2:
Begin starting churches: “learning centers”
community helps: food etc.
Stage 3:
Political activism: demanding rights, denounce
derogatory comments/press etc.
Stage 4:
Get elected, pass laws favoring rights etc. move toward
political majority
Stage 5:
Political control, Sharia Law
I think they get grants for private schooling.
And what was the increase in Muslim fifth columnists in America over the SAME time frame?? I bet its no where NEAR the increase in mosques.
Its o.k. to keep an open mind, as long as you don’t let your brains fall out. But the LATER is what politically correct thinking has led Americans and Europeans to.
And the LONG and SORDID history of militant Islam, as well as EVERY INDICATOR of contemporary Muslim behavior in Europe and in countries dominated by Islamic majorities, should lead ANY thinking person ot the conclusion that Islam and 2000 years of progressive westeren civilization, are TOTALLY incompatible.
