What made it more effective is the fact that Clint is a Centrist in the truest sense of the word. Anyone who knows his views knows he is far from what we here would consider to be conservative. While the Democrats were preaching to the choir in Charlotte, Clint made his case to the undecided voters, with devastating effect.

He was just an American man, talking in what I found to be an almost apolitical way, to other Americans. Just laying it out there, as if to say, "look folks, you know it and I know it... this guy's gotta go." It was one of those "speeches" that was more effective as time passed and you thought it about some more... then you realized how much sense it made.
