CNN had a panel of undecided voters last night who listened to the speech from Obama. Most were not impressed and a phrase was mentioned: Obama Fatigue.
Obama burst on the scene in 2008 with soaring speeches and MSM worship. People were fainting at rallies and he was the greatest orator ever. Actually, platitudes and no plan and a cadence of black preachers lifted from his mentor Pastor Wright combined with media hype created the momentum.
Four years later and it's the same speech. Voters want something different.
I'm thinking the 45-45 poll numbers mean that 10% on the fence is far more likely to break for Romney as he's the change candidate this time out. They already know Obama and they wanted more of what we got he'd already be their pick. He can't win over independents with speeches this late in the game and that's all he's got.
Everywhere you turn the kenyan appears. Internet ads are relentless. He reminds me of a Realtor in my neighborhood.
The media and Hollywood did Obama no service holding their tongues and never critizing him for going on four and a half years now.
When people are losing jobs, lowernig their income, food, clothes and shelter cost more and so does gas for your car, and all you see is fluff pieces and and total ass kissing from pop culture to the MSM aboput Obama, it can make the public resentful and fed up....big time. It feels as though issues are being ignored.

You must live in one of those “swing” states.
Fatigue? I know quite a few people who can’t even stand to hear the sound of Obongo’s voice, much less listen to what he is saying.
For 3.5 years Barack Obama has screwed this nation over and has the petal to the metal for Godzilla chocking debt. Scandal after scandal, high unemployment, outlandish debt and absolutely no leadership.
What is left to decide??
He is not allowed on T-V in our house, and we are not the exception.
This race should be nowhere this close unless the Left is THAT stupid and blind to not see the pieces of the puzzle that are being laid into place for a socialist police state with iron fist type control that will strip their freedoms, hopes, and aspirations. They do not get that nothing is free and that they are being duped by a conman who cares absolutely nothing about; only their servitude.
....and the polling has been slanted extra percentage points to the left OR
....Done on a weekend OR
....With adults (least accurate), registered voters (more accurate)OR
....Any combination of the above
NOTE: Likely voter Polls are done the most rarely because it's harder to get the numbers they're skewing for.....

I agree completely. This is an excellent post!
“This race should be nowhere this close”!!!
You are NOT taking in to account voter fraud.
Very well put. And the trends in viewership of the MSM and Hollywood have seen steep and continuing decline. There’s your silent majority in action. Those are the polls and indicators I’m watching, not the fluffed up polls. 60 days left.
More like total disgust and loathing...

What’s funny in our house, is when an Obama campaign commercial or Obama himself appears on the TV, my wife or I will either hit the mute or change the channel. We’ve had “Obama Fatigue” in our house since Jan. 2009.
I’ve been of the mind, for a while, that this might truly be his undoing. To the unengaged, the “obama show” was good entertainment in the beginning. Now, it’s kind of like Law and Order. Some form of it is on all some channel, all of the time. The more they see it, the more they realize it’s not a very good show, after all. The writing is one note, and the acting is very poor. The unengaged are getting tired of it being in their faces 24/7, and are going to start looking for a reason to change the channel.
The general rule of thumb is that undecideds break about 2-1 or 3-1 against the incumbent. (Turnout is usually the difference). If it's truly about 45-45-8-2 (Romney-Obama-Undecided-Other) we'd be looking at something like 50-48-2 on the conservative side, or 51-47-2 on the aggressive side.
