Krauthammer On Obama: "One Of The Emptiest Speeches I Have Ever Heard" (video)
RealClearPolitics ^ | September 6, 2012 | Ian Schwartz

Charles Krauthammer on President Obama's convention speech: "I was stunned. This is a man who gave one of the great speeches of our time in 2004. And he gave one of the emptiest speeches I have ever heard on a national stage. Yes it had cadence, and yes, there were deceptions in it, but that is not what is so striking about it. There was nothing in it. This is a man who believes that government can and should do a lot. There's nothing here that tells us how he's going to go from today to tomorrow."

[[Charles is an elitist, and I have lost ALL respect for him]]

I’m glad you said that- I had the same feelign about him after listenign to him angrily rantr on abotu hte stupidity of Christians who beleive in creation- I lost all respect for the man at that point- and have since heard him several times sound as though he was leaning left more and more o ncertain key issues0- He and George will I beleive it was, are both rabid anti-Christian intellectual snobs and elitists who think their ‘scientific minds’ are far superior to ‘the silly superstitions of an “old book”’

Charles and will can be quite intellectual on certain issues, however, their disdain and contemopt for Chrisitans are really quite shokcing- Everytime I listen to him now I just have to wonder when his next antiChristian rant is goign to explode- because you can almost sense it seethign beneath the surface

Agreed. George Will seems clonish to Krauthammer.

I wish I could find the death panel/health rationing transcript I read (from a .gov site). It was truly fiendish and reminiscent of Hitler’s Germany. Appalling.

No surprise that Krauthammer is rabidly anti-Christian given what I read; no real surprise about Will, either.

I detest them both.

Out out , damn spot. Life is but a Poor Player, who struts and frets his hour among the stage and then is heard no more. It is a tale, told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying Nothing. Thanks to William Shakespeare who nailed Obama.

And they are speeches delivered in the most annoying, clipped monotone any human being has ever possessed. I literally can not listen to Barack Obama speak. His annoying monotone drives me nuts!

And that insane "nose whistle"....

is that a result of sniffing up coke....

....anyone know....?

I didnt watch the speech, and scanning Facebook, Drudge, and FR this morning I dont know what was in it other than a phantom peace accord. I must have been pretty bad.

Clinton is a million times better of a speaker. He has a way of summarizing both sides to make his side look good and does it sounding authentic. I despise the man and his policies, but he is a gifted communicator indeed. Obama gives a good oration when he is on his game, but you can tell it is canned and being read.

That would’ve been perfect for Newt Gingrich to do in prime time.

It sure would have .But then Romney and Rove would have been bent out of shape when the MSM attacked it as Mean Spirited and Negative

He’s many things but the President is far from being as many Freepers mistakenly assume, an idiot

He is a Teleprompter reading Puppet

Hus handlers determine policy

Or was it his great idea to screw up the platform over Jerusalem and GOD

Easy to be a gifted communicator when you lie like hell and the MSM covers for you and the GOP is so cowed by the MSM ( except for Newt ) that they let him get away with it
