Charles Krauthammer on President Obama's convention speech: "I was stunned. This is a man who gave one of the great speeches of our time in 2004. And he gave one of the emptiest speeches I have ever heard on a national stage. Yes it had cadence, and yes, there were deceptions in it, but that is not what is so striking about it. There was nothing in it. This is a man who believes that government can and should do a lot. There's nothing here that tells us how he's going to go from today to tomorrow."

clintoon’s speeches were never approached the oratory of the Great One, Ronald Reagan.
Reagan moved people. Excited people. Gave Hope, Drive, and Ambition. Convinced people to be the best they could be.
all this other drivel is “step aside, we will do it for you, if it wasn’t for us, you would be nothing. go to bed, we will take care of it”.
clintoon was only an orator in the left wings eyes, as is obama.
i never got a tingle up my leg listening to him. must be a rat thing.
Blessings, bobo
“a tale Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing”.
Charles absolutely nailed it (like he always does).
No, he’s right. Your post is atrocious. Did you type that all with your nose or something?
I didn’t watch but I gather he hit the Mendoza Line?
Cost of the Obama’a shopping list...4 more trillion..anybody got that kind of change..didnt work the first time.they wont even tell us where the money went.
Punctuation is our friend.
I just want Romney to come out with both barrels now. No holding back, and for God's sake don't pull another McCain with this "He's a nice guy but..." garbage.
What none of the talking heads are even focusing on is that Barry came across as even more condescending than usual. I think some of his slams at Romney came off as just rude.
One comment that I think will not sit well with any but the Kool Aid drinkers is this “If a company releases toxic pollution into the air your children breathe, well, thats just the price of progress”
Obama is afloat only because most of the uniformed voters still like him personally. After tonight’s speech I think some people probably like him a lot less. His speech was disrespectful to his opponents, he failed to take responsibility for the lack of progress, and he always tried to push off blame to others. Not a recipe for success.
I guess he must have changed speech writers since his first.
yup judhing by al lthe childish comments, it must be kids night out- must be nice being perfect-
That’s the problem. We can’t read your posts. Seriously, its not polite to post like that. Now of you ARE dyslexic that’s another story, but you could just be stone drunk for all we know.
P.S. If you’re trying to type on your phone, I retract my picture. ;)
I guess he must have changed speech writers since his first.
I remember when I had my first beer.
Empty head, empty suit, empty speech, empty chair....and my empty wallet thanks to him.
You post with all the skill of a 4 year old, and accuse others of being childish?
