CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) will introduce President Barack Obama during prime time this evening at the final night of the Democratic National Convention.
Vice President Joseph Biden and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, will address delegates at the Time Warner Cable Arena during the 9 p.m. hour, convention organizers announced. And no one is more disappointed about Biden’s speaking slot than Republicans, who have taken to Twitter to campaign for the gaffe-prone vice president to speak during the nationally televised 10 p.m. hour instead.
CBS and ABC news will air the DNC’s program only during the 10 p.m. hour, according to MarketWatch. NBC will air a full two hours tonight because it showed the NFL season opening game last night.
Biden made for a frequent punching bag at last week’s GOP convention in Tampa. At the podium, several speakers joked about the former Senator’s propensity for verbal gaffes.
Romney’s running mate, House Budget Chairman Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), did get a prime time address last week at the Republican National Convention.
Interesting; since 'turning the table' - or 'chair' as case may be; Obama, Inc. has moved on; from criticising Clint. Subject dropped. Obama hates to be the butt of a joke; to be ridiculed. His hubris does not allow such. Think they saw this taking on a 'life' they could not handle.
Repubs miss so many opportunities to do more; to reveal Obama the dangerous fool that he is. Fool and worse, that is.
The muzzling of Joe Biden and the break of tradition, putting Clinton in Biden’s place, tells us just how much the Obama campaign is concerned.
I see Queen Amidala is no longer in the lineup either what happened?
Durbin isn’t the brightest bulb either, right....why didn’t they do Clinton tonight? That would have been the smartest thing....definitely agree.

I bet he’s bristling ... and it might have been a decision made in the last couple of days, as stupidly disorganized and incompetent as this crew has been this week. Nevertheless, he’s a total buffoon who’s risen ridiculously far beyond his faculties and all because a total incompetent, treasonous radical scraped by to be potus.

It’s a train wreck. And I peeked in just for a moment...it was all I could stand...and Mooshelle looked like she was ready to kill something or someone. LOL!

I am beginning to think that some dems like Hillary, Gore and the other (who announced not going to the convention a month ago), are sensing political disaster and are avoiding the convention and things related to “the chair” .
The internals must be awful and the support eroding daily. “The chair” must be made of political Kryptonite.
They wouldn’t let him speak at all if they thought they could come up with a good excuse. They know he won’t stay on script. His mouth moves long after his brains stops sending signals.
And Dick Durbin looks like a duck.
I turned him off to watch a movie clicked back FORTY-FIVE MINUTES LATER, and he was STILL babbling on!! HolyMoly .. please God, let them lose BIG and get right out.
