CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) will introduce President Barack Obama during prime time this evening at the final night of the Democratic National Convention.
Vice President Joseph Biden and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, will address delegates at the Time Warner Cable Arena during the 9 p.m. hour, convention organizers announced. And no one is more disappointed about Biden’s speaking slot than Republicans, who have taken to Twitter to campaign for the gaffe-prone vice president to speak during the nationally televised 10 p.m. hour instead.
CBS and ABC news will air the DNC’s program only during the 10 p.m. hour, according to MarketWatch. NBC will air a full two hours tonight because it showed the NFL season opening game last night.
Biden made for a frequent punching bag at last week’s GOP convention in Tampa. At the podium, several speakers joked about the former Senator’s propensity for verbal gaffes.
Romney’s running mate, House Budget Chairman Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), did get a prime time address last week at the Republican National Convention.
The DNC may be idiots, but they're not stupid.
Maybe not, but democrat voters certainly are.

Saw pic of Biden and wife Jill at DNC. Both looked like they had just had a 'root canal' - sans anesthetic. But given; Biden's lectures/pronouncements; had no sympathy for either.
Obama has none either; but he needs the joker card; the court jester; save when Biden makes him part of the joke; of course.
If Obama survives; doubt Biden will; per next 'four'. Then of course; we will not be the 'survivor class' either.
Of course; Obama planning of more than 'four'; should he steal this one. A thief is just that. Obama will not settle for less that what his colossal by it's psychopathic; mega-narcissism can contain.
Dick Durbin must be speaking because he can rally the Illinois faithful. Obamugabe must be worried about losing that state. ;-)
