Anything earned over a certain amount (I seem to recall it was 1 million dollars, but it might have been less) would be taxed at 100%.

They would tax “the rich” at 100% if they could. In fact, I’m sure if they could get away with it, they’d tax us all at 100%, then give us what they decided we should be permitted to have. We get one step closer to this with every new Dem law.
