A nine-year-old Cub Scout has quit over the Boy Scouts of America’s policy which does not allow any gay member, volunteer or staff member.
Christopher Tiner, of Minot, Maine, had seen in the news that many Eagle Scouts had returned their badges in protest against the exclusion of gay members, volunteers and staff by the Boy Scouts of America.
Scott Tiner, Christopher’s father, said that the Cub Scout made the decision entirely on his own. Christopher reflected on his position:
“I didn’t like it that they were kicking people out,” he said. “I don’t think it’s fair.”
Christopher, formerly of pack 139, is reported to be the first scout in Maine to have quit over the controversy, and said that the decision was easy once he thought about it.
Scott, former Scout Leader also commented, saying:
“I don’t want to have a membership card to an organization that makes it very clear that this is how they feel.”

This is why they don’t form it. They’d rather harass the traditional organization. More fun, more profitable, and gets more media attention.
The kid isn’t even old enough to realize that sick grown-up pedophiles only want in so they can molest him. Evidently his parents are also too stupid to see what is going on.
God Bless the Boy Scouts and those who don’t wish to belong can make their own decision . It isn’t the Scouts that are losing anything.

What pisses me off, as a father of 5 sons (not to mention daughters).....this kid was manipulated. He’s a freakin’ 9 year old who parroted what he was told.
Damn his “parents” and any others who pushed him to this while filling him with such vile garbage....and making it sound oh-so-noble.

Plus, starting a new organization takes too much work and iniative. Libs would rather take over what conservatives create.
I’ll guarantee you this 9-year-old has no idea what “gay” is all about or he wouldn’t be making such statements. Shame on this father for using his own son this way to make HIS point.
