That’s too close to Charlotte, the Bank of America Stadium may have suffered structural damage, guess Obama better cancel his speech there.

I’ve been there. San Jose is an inland valley city and surrounded by volcanically-active mountains. The coastal plan on the Pacific side is especially exposed to a tsunami threat - it’s quite flat for a fair distance away from the coast. Met a lot of good people there - hope they are okay.

The Dems should cancel their convention out of respect for the earthquake/tsunami victims. It would be insensitive to party while people were dying.

I suspect some day, in their zeal to keep Breaking News totally full of mostly pure BS, some moderator will have a lot of egg on their face. Once they realize that though, they’ll slip whatever it is back in.

7.9 Near San Jose, Costa Rica

Over 80 miles away from San Jose and on a peninsula on the west coast in a relatively uninhabited area.
