Since they're going all out to find these 100,000 service members so quickly, maybe they can slip an absentee ballot into the enrollment forms, so they can get to the service members in time to vote?

“COMPUTERISED HEAlTH CARE RECORDS”= Once you tell me you have PTSD, your ass is MINE!
Please people USE CAUTION and USE Discernment when ANYONE asks you to put ANYTHING on a computer!!!!!!!!!!ESPECIALLY you Military Vets!!

Amazing how many boating accidents FReepers have. :^)
In order for the PTSD label, one has to have the symptoms for a certain period of time. The label can't be applied if the behavior doesn't extend to that amount of time. In other words, the “stress” should be gone by then. If it isn't, then the label could be applied.
One has to also evaluate whether the person is able to function in his/her life. If the person cannot function, that is indicative of a disorder after a period of time.
AGENDA 21 (got a ‘a’ on the end...;o)...)
Since they are reducing DoD end strength by about 20,000 in 2013 and 10,000 in 2012, that seems a very large appropriation.
There are about 6,000 vet suicides annually, and another 10,000 unsuccessful attempts by veterans annually. Actual servicemen numbers are closer to about 700 suicides annually.
Since 2009 there are about 120,000 Post-Deployment Health Reassessments per 18 month periods, so about 80,000/year.
Numbers might not be too far off.
But we may see them dealt with in our own lifetime...
Hopefully sooner... rather than later... (suits me)
Thanks for your service...
I believe we are "Once... and Again..." A GREAT NATION!
Take care...
