Will Obama use his death to his advantage somehow at the convention?

Whatever else he may have been, Michael Clarke Duncan was a very good character actor.

I remember reading a story that anyone who met him on the street who could tell him his real name would get $5.

In the spring of 2012, Clarke had appeared in a video for PETA, the animal rights organization, in which he spoke of how much better he felt since becoming a vegetarian three years earlier.

“I cleared out my refrigerator, about $5,000 worth of meat,” he said. “I’m a lot healthier than I was when I was eating meat.”

Think I need to stock up on bacon.

Just heard on the radio about his passing. A true shame that such a personable man has departed so early. He seemed like he’d be an awesome guy to hang out with for a beer and a conversation.

Last year, I went to see Green Lantern. The main reason for going was not Ryan Reynolds, who looked too much like Ben Stiller in the mask, but because my favorite character in the GL/DC Universe, Kilowog, was in it.

I was delighted when I recognized the voice of Michael Clarke Duncan. I thought it was perfect casting.

And now, sadly, he is gone. And he took John Coffey with him.

Rest in peace, boss. We'll miss you.

Or not. Sounds like he had health concerns for some time.

RIP

Too young, I lost my bride of 23 years, 17 months 3 days ago. She was just 56. Again...too young!

Sorry to hear; i enjoyed his work.

I'd hoped he was on the mend after being found in cardiac arrest a few weeks ago. I guess it really was his time to go.

I don’t care who else was nominated, Duncan should have got the Oscar for his performance in ‘The Green Mile’.

RIP. Too young. He previously had a heart attack in July.

I had no idea he was engaged to that woman from Trump’s reality show.
