“New Yorker’s Lizza: Nothing Racial About Clinton’s ‘Obama Would Have Been Carrying Our Bags’ “

These people cannot possibly be anymore transparent.

Maybe Mr.Lizza should interview a few of the people who knew Bill Clinton as an undergraduate at Georgetown. Then he would not only come to understand Clinton, but the adage that “at eighteen you are basically the same person you will be at eighty five.”

“Obama would have been carrying our bags” = Not racial
“They gonna put y’all back in chains” = Not racial

“They’re running an angry campaign” = Racial
“Welfare” = Racial
“Chicago” = Racial

Got it.

I tend to give Billy BJ the benefit of the doubt on this one. He might just have been saying that the political job Obama is qualified for is baggage handling. I agree with him there.

Do Democrats do anything other than lie? Seriously, the only honest comment I heard from a Democrat was when O’Malley said we aren’t better off.

Clinton’s cool, but any word that comes out of a Republican’s mouth is racist. Seriously, as far as free speech is concerned, I feel like we’re living in a totalitarian state.

Clinton, being a Democrat, is incapable of racism. It’s just that simple.

Orwell’s 1984 it is. Words no longer have common meaning. Everything needs a party operative to interpret sentences into their proper political meanings.

Of course not!
They are Democrats!

Why, since they are Democrats, they would not even be racist if they joined the KKK - Just ask Robert Byrd.

So the democRATS have no problem if, during the first debate, Romney turns Barry and says, “In five months from now, y’all be carrying bags for a living.”

At this point they have forfeited their ability to make the racist charge stick. They did the same thing with sexist a few years ago.

Hmmmmmm...a memory refresher:
American political writers John Heliemann and Mark Halperin claim in their book, GAME CHANGE, that Mr Clinton made the call to the late ‘Lion of the Senate’ Ted Kennedy, on the day after Mr Obama won a key primary in Iowa (2008).

‘He phoned Kennedy and pressed for an endorsement, making the case for his wife. But Bill then went on, belittling Obama in a manner that deeply offended Kennedy,’ they wrote.

‘Recounting the conversation later to a friend, Teddy fumed that Clinton had said, ‘A few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee.’ ...After Kennedy sided with Obama, Clinton reportedly griped, "the only reason you are endorsing him is because he's black. Let's just be clear."

The top Democrat in the US Senate was also in hot water over racially insensitive comments he made during the 2008 campaign about Mr Obama that are quoted in ‘Game Change.’

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid describing the then Senator Obama as ‘light-skinned’ and ‘with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one.’

Nope, nothing racial at all. It was a reference to his qualifications.
