What better way to commemorate the Labor Day holiday than to send a message to the AWOL campaign-in-chief and support Clint Eastwood, to boot!
Twitchy has the story of the latest Eastwood-inspired social media phenomenon. First, #eastwooding.
Now: #EmptyChairDay.
Tomorrow, Monday, is the day.
Decorate yours any way you want it: Nobama stickers, Romney/Ryan yard signs, golf clubs, mom jeans, etc. Email/tweet us your best entries.
My decorations going to be We own this country! sign, in tribute to Eastwoods best line from his speech.
Have fun! You know theyre going to call it racist, anyway.

OOOOOHHHHyah!
I can hardly wait!
Looks like there's going to be a lot of that going on later in the week as well....in Charlotte.
OK, I just put mine out and I have to say I am a little nervous. I doubt that anyone that isn’t familiar with Eastwood’s presentation would even understand the implication of the empty chair but I don’t want someone picking it up and throwing it through my front window.
I love the chair and flag idea. Gonna share the pic on Twitter and FB.
Yikes! Sorry about the HUGE photo
“You can make one to hang in your car.”
I reassured my husband I wouldn’t do that. Our car is only a year old and I’m on a university campus twice a week. I don’t want it keyed. The student Democrats were absolutely rabid in 2008. I’m not concerned about an empty, plastic chair in my lawn. A lot of people already have those.
Mine is out
I understand.
I only do these things when driving. I take down stickers and such when parked.
Really? That’s fantastic!
be strong and fear not!
I’m going to do this too!
LOL, I live in a very republican area (thank the Good Lord for that), we actually have a Ron Paul die-hard up the street from us.
Now, I enjoy a good location on the corner, I want to put out the chair with a sign.
What should my sign say?
Fire Obama?
Vote Romney?
Hire Romney/Ryan?
Put them together?
Fire Obama/Hire Romeny Ryan, the turnaround team?
All suggestions are welcome!
As Dan Rather might have once said, courage. Courage.
I can see it coming...
All empty chairs in the future, will be declared a symbol of racism.
