Despite a truckload of evidence, most of which will eventually find its way into the public domain, many still refuse to accept that Armstrong doped. He passed all those tests, they say, ignoring that he tested positive at the 1999 Tour de France, a problem solved through a backdated medical prescription. The believers also ignore the finding of six EPO positives from the 1999 Tour when Armstrong's samples were retrospectively tested.
"The tests are easy to beat. We're way, way ahead of the tests. They've got their doctors and we've got ours, and ours are better. Better paid, for sure."
Even the dimmest need spend only a millisecond researching what USADA have on Armstrong to know it is direct evidence, not hearsay.

To the OJ Simpson defensemobile !
" His prints aren`t on the knife so the overwhelming circumstantial evidence AND positive tests do not count !"
Lance Armstrong is guilty. There’s no doubt except those in fairy tale land.
Aw come on !
Hamilton is just bitter he caught nabbed and doesn`t care is he loses a liable suit. Misery loves company/sarc off
I’d love to know how the Chinese are getting by with it. I am convinced they are doping.
One of the most interesting PBS specials I ever saw:

* got caught/nabbed
It remains, sad to say, pretty heavily populated.
I assumed for years that Lance wasn’t clean, but I did enjoy watching him race. At that level of racing, I bet there were only a handful who weren’t juiced.
Having said that, he is a cheat, period.
I think he would have gotten away with it, if not for his personality. What gets me in this whole situation, is how it seems EVERY person who has rode with him, or worked for him, HATES HIM. He must be a real ass in person. I’m sure some were just jealous, but my God, that doesn’t explain the actions of all the others.
As long as the money in pro sports is as excessive as it is, there will always be cheaters, always.
Never fails, those that can’t do, CHEAT, and make millions off their story and when caught, LIE, to protect those millions.
That’s probably a pretty good story for people who subscribe to the Australian....for the rest of us, not so much.
It's possible and likely that they all cheat. So why strip one cheater of his titles if it means rewarding another?
That’s what I don’t get. They say he cheated even though he passed all the tests. Therefore, the tests are meaningless. If Armstrong can pass the test even though he is cheating, can’t everyone else as well? Yet, they haven’t sent a witch hunt after them. Why?
The "500 drugs test" thing is a product of the Armstrong's PR machine, and has no basis in reality. One will look in vain for any verification of it.
The "in competition" tests are easily beaten. And, even there, Armstrong failed on some occasions to beat them. He tested positive during the 1999 Tour (although his after-the-fact "explanation" for the positive was accepted by, ahem, that those dastardly French who were otherwise "always out to get him.")
He also tested positive during the 2001 Tour de Suisse, but that failed test was "made to go away" by officials within the UCI.
Samples taken from Armstrong from the 1999 Tour de France were tested some years later after a urine test for EPO was developed. His samples produced "positives" in six instances (although, he could not sanctioned after the fact since the protocol would not allow for such under those circumstances). Even today there is news developing that other Armstrong samples, tested by USADA in recent times, have produced positive results, although that is yet to be confirmed.
As for out-of-competition testing, it has come to light in recent times that Armstrong was given advance warning of when the testers would be coming. The depth of the corruption within the UCI, which has been protecting Armstrong since 1999, is breathtaking in its scope.
What some people think is the reality here, and what is the reality here, is separated by light-years.
And what evidence is that? And why did it take so many years AFTER he won seven in a row to produce this direct evidence? Did the USADA withhold all the "real" tests where Lance was clearly "positive" for doping? Doesn't the fact that he was tested HUNDREDS of times during the time of his racing and was never found to be cheating put into question EVERY SINGLE TEST GIVEN TO EVERY OTHER WINNER OF THE TOUR DE FRANCE?
How does this not invalidate ALL previous wins of ALL racers?
If Lance cheated then EVERYONE could have cheated so we can either conclude the race has never been legitimate or just accept the results as they are and move on.
What a joke this is. If Lance cheated NO CREDIBLE EVIDENCE EXISTED AT THE TIME TO PROVE HE DID. Lance Armstrong remains the greatest cyclist ever to live, period.
I’m a fan, therefore I don’t believe he’s guilty.
I’m also a Elvis fan, therefore I don’t believe he was a druggie!
Yes. So strip him of his titles and they go to whom? Another cheater? Would that fix things? For some, the answer seems to be yes.
They are probably doping, but they are also getting the kids from the earliest moment possible.
These kids will end up impoverished, because they will be thrown away from the state when the state is finished with them.
Lance Armstrong is the greatest cyclist ever, therefore he’s not guilty!
