Eastwood made it “cool” to mock and deride 0 in average voters minds. The only truly effective tactics against a Cult of Personality candidate like 0 is mockery and scorn. The secret of 0 success is he makes it “cool” for his supporters to support him. mockery totally destroys that illusion.
In Aug 2008 their RNC were running ads mocking 0 by playing clips of his speeches that exposed his narcissistic megalomania. They were simply killing 0 with them. Those ads were significantly moving the polls them. McCain came in an put an end to those because he wanted to “run a positive campaign
The panel are acting like Clinton’s seal of approval will change all these minds when he is not anywhere as beloved as the media thinks.
More groupthink assuming something that isn’t there. He was a disgrace and a skirt chasing hick who happened to ride the media wave into the WH.
It seems to me that both political parties are going through long time changes. Republicans are changing as the tea party type people are getting involved and moving the party to the right. Democrats were taken over by progressives, who are radically more radical than past liberals. It will take some time but I’m thinking old line liberal Democrats will get fed up with it and begin a similar effort, like the tea party, to take back their party.
I got so sick of seeing Jeb Bush last week I was about to spit.
He kept saying Americans need to revise their thinking on immigration.
He needs to go to hell.
All us boobs want out here in la-la land is a reasonable method for tracking immigration. Like all countries across the planet have for their borders and protecting borders is a number one job of the federal gubmint.
Back in the Reagan era we readily agreed to amnesty and a whole bunch of illegal aliens and their children were made legal.
They were then supposed to set up an immigration and not that we don’t have great technology nowadays to do this.
And NOW they want to mock us for being heathans and refusing to grant blanket amnesty again?
The last thing we need is a REPUBLICAN to lecture us for being....eh, normal, as we understand such as fences and locks out here in la-la land where we carry this country on our backs.
I urge all yon readers to not buy this politico mantra that we are bad, bad people because we don’t want to go all through that again, because it’s bankrupting our localities what with welfare and hospital ER rooms.
Ole Jeb Bush, Lord I’m glad you will never be President.
Cause you won’t.
Never.
Somebody should photoshop feet of clay at the base of the sand sculpture.
Wonder what got into Wallace?
((((((
Could it be that he absorbed some of the tone of last week’s convention’s speakers, subconsciously; just by being there and more or less having to listen to positive speech after speech.
Wait what? Who “trotted out” sheriff Arpaio? I never saw him.
Remember Bush in the after math of 0911 never got above 90% support. There are 10% of the country who are either stupid or simply contrarian. You will NEVER reach them no matter what you do.
;)
well that made me laugh.
I’m telling you Maica, the Dem talking heads are all around promising the seats shall be filled.
They got a plan, don’t know what, but they’re worried about it.
Yeha..that was PRICELSS!
“I’m a policy brain..uh, no I’m a journalist..uh, no I’m a political analyst..uh, no I’m a journalist..” HA!
Oh, wasn't she LBJ's personal whore?
Gregory is actually challenging Emanuel to say something rational about Obama’s record and plans for the next four years. Gregory started the interview looking like a fan of Rohm, but soon his face took on a look of despondency.
I mean, just look at how WHITE it is.
Oops, don't tell Chris Matthews I called Chicago white!
Memorial Day, if the Democrats continue killing labor. Otherwise, happy Labor Day tomorrow.
ROFLOL
The rising tide of Tea Party influence matched to the political savvy the Romney campaign suggests we might finally get a GOP President who is not so politically ham handed.
Romney will be a President who we can hold his feet to the fire. He will not have the annoying trait of the Bushes of thinking God loved them so they could do what ever they wanted without thought of the political impact of their actions.
You are soooo right.
and Narcicissts get completely enraged when they are mocked!
Clint got the message out with humor that sticks and goes viral..OBAMA IS AN EMPTY CHAIR.
Everytime a joke takes off and hits the mark is because there is an element of truth to it. If Clint’s skit were not accurate about Obozo, it never would have gone viral.
Rahm on MTP actually said that the crime in Chicago is being contained? What planet is he living on?
