Haha. Really though, evidently this guy is a nut. His neighbors were waiting for him to snap. But 16 air rifles and a couple of pistols and knives? Come on. I guess that constitutes and arsenal in NYC.
I must admit, the 32 machetes worries me a little.....
He's way heavy on machetes and far too light on the ammo.
If you want to add in the house and storage, I guess I would be a one-man aggressor nation by those standards.
New York City needs to be declared a city in insurrection and a military mayor appointed to clean out all the commies and fascists.
I’m sure the slut metrosexuals who occupy NYC won’t resist. What would they do, throw their purses? American leftists are cowards who hate us, but they don’t have the skill or guts to take us out, which is why they’re trying to recruit mohammed goat humpers and fat welfare mommas from Mexico to act as their mercenary army.
32 Machetes, 60 knives and 16 air pistols I can see, but SEVEN tasers (that’s ODD).
OPSEC.
Guy only had 10,000 rounds stored? He needs to be slapped real hard in the back of the head.
That’s barely enough for two months at the range, on weekends and nit enough for a month if the range has allows plinking.
He’s guilty of being unprepared for not having to share.
This is the most troubling part to me. I dropped a loaded 30 round mag on my toe once and it really hurt. Somebody could throw these six mags and take out an eye.
He’s guilty of being unprepared for not having enough to share.
Fixed
okay, stuff like this makes me wonder, what is the law? are there limits to how many weapons you can own if there are all legal? or after a number do they say oops, you hit the limit, no more guns for you? Now it may be that these are not licensed or whatever, but things like shotguns or knives or ammo, can they really limit what you can own?
Machetes are good tools. I learned to use one when I was building roads through the bush in the Virgins. I always have one well sharpened but 32? Does he have a high capacity magazine for his machete semi automatic?
I knew a Vietnam vet who had about three times this ‘arsenal.’ Only thing is, he was wheelchair-bound. So what?
What, nothing belt fed or crew served?
He is less a threat than 2 of NYNY’s finest. I doubt he would ever shoot 8 innocent bystanders.........
Sounds like his neighbors were just trying anything to stop this guy. Someone heard shots in the air so that’s good enough for the guy to lose his 2nd, 4th and 5th amendment rights.
Oh yeah, they don’t really have those rights in NYC.
The more interesting part of the article for me is the use of video surveillance to monitor the citizen. That is the real scary part. NY leadership stated that they were installing a facial recognition computer system to track residents.
Amazing that there was not an uprising.
Amazing that there isn't an uprising in this country against surveillance.
Strange; no mention of a rifle to go with the magazines.
As one of the Texas 5th circuit judges on the U.S. v. Emerson 2nd amendment case remarked in passing at oral argument, he and one of the other judges on the three-judge panel "had almost as many firearms between them as a small Latin American country".
Was he really firing shots or was this just an excuse to investigate him?
Was he breaking any laws?
Was he threatening people?
I think I’d find it hard to swing more than two machetes so a guy with two is about as dangerous as this guy.
I need more machetes.
