20 And God spoke all these words, saying:

2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 “You shall have no other gods before Me.
4 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; 5 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, 6 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.

 Ozymandias

by  Percy Bysshe Shelley  (1792-1822)
I met a traveler from an antique land
Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed;
And on the pedestal these words appear:
“My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!”
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

Perhaps a message? That is, if one is clever enough to read it.

A portent of things to come. KEEP PRAYING!!!!

Would’ve been much simpler to just make a sand chair instead of a stupid sculpture that doesn’t even resemble jugears.

...the storm was so strong that its heavy winds blew the rain sideways, pelting the president’s right side.

Haha He’s been pelted from the right side all week long.

Really don't mind if you sit this one out. My words but a whisper - your deafness a SHOUT. I may make you feel but I can't make you think. Your sperm's in the gutter - your love's in the sink. So you ride yourselves over the fields and you make all your animal deals and your wise men don't know how it feels to be thick as a brick.

And the sand-castle virtues are all swept away in the tidal destruction the moral melee.

The elastic retreat rings the close of play as the last wave uncovers the newfangled way. But your new shoes are worn at the heels and your suntan does rapidly peel and your wise men don't know how it feels to be thick as a brick.

The workers were "pounding and smoothing" the sand.

That was outside the Convention Center.

Come Monday they will just be pounding sand inside the Convention Center.
