Those of you who listened to Rush yesterday already know this, but: Just as he was coming upon a commercial break, at one point in the broadcast, he closed out with this statement: "Latest poll shows 77 percent of Missourians forgive Todd Akin. He trails McCaskill by only one point. Hmmmmmmm.........."
Hoping he wins.
Imagine where the race would be if the GOPe & the ‘moderates’ hadn’t behave like Pavlov’s dog at the sight of a rolled up newspaper.
With Akin in our out, I want a Republican win, for the Senate and for Romney. The all out assault on Akin by the GOP, and people who should have known better, have made winning Missouri difficult, to say the least.
Yes, Akin said something which sounds absurd, and the liberals hyperventilated.
Even many Republicans hyperventilated about it. But at the end of the day, are conservatives in Missouri really going to vote for McKaskill (sp?) again, just because Akin said something stupid? Liberals say stupid things all the time and it doesn’t matter.
And, are those same voters really going to vote for Obama, to punish Romney because a fellow Repulican said something stupid?
I think this race in Missouri with Akin may well be very close.
Agreed.
I bet he wins. It would be classic! HA!
Papa is a trolling drone.

Hey, pistol what religious hypocrisy is that?
You are not talking about truth.
Care to expand.
Even many Republicans hyperventilated about it.
Yep. He said something really stupid and I'll admit I was among the Republicans who hyperventilated about it. Yet in my heart I knew that there was no realistic chance at this time to replace him with someone else and I also knew that if I lived in Missouri, I'd still vote for him regardless of the extremely moronic comment he made.
Hope he pulls it off and I hope the idiocy "legitimate rape" never again leaves his lips. And I hope conservative candidates learn a valuable lesson from this. It's all too easy to hobble a campaign by putting your foot in your mouth.
Jeez Louise, the Democrats say something stupid eight times a day. Joe Biden alone would keep their consecutive game batting streak alive. A stupid conservative over a clever liberal any day of the week (at least in my book).
