Mark Levin is a loose cannon and a hypocrite, he is Mr Knee Jerk himself and rarely thinks things thru. Levin was one of the first to start piling on Akin when conservatives should have been defending Akins'. The GOP is suppose to be pro-life but look how quickly they throw under the bus someone that states the pro-life position. That should tell you all you need to know about Republicans like Mark Levin. Mine guess is Levin figured out which way the wind is blowing on the Akins' thing and is making a self serving course correction. Typical of one with few/no conservative principles.
